Hello world, In this video I've shown you how to create vector Geometric Isometric Background pattern in Adobe Illustrator. I used pen tool and gradient to make primary shape. Plus the Golden touch of Grain. that will make your artwork more cool and awesome.

There seem to be little discrepancies in the final pattern after I apply it as a swatch. Any ideas? I adjusted the main shape and tried again but always seem to get jagged edges somewhere in the image....

Hi, thanks for the tut. Its great. My question is regarding H:86.602% I understand that its the number needed to make it work, but more importantly how did you derive this percentage/ratio, or based on what variables . Thank you. P.S. Didn't know you could just throw a % in there , thanks twice.

Deberías de enseñar las capas. No he sabido como cambiar el color del rectángulo lateral por el trazado lateral debido a que bloqueaba todas las partes del rectángulo. Era todo una misma capa.

¿Te refieres a que cambias el color del lateral y se te aplica a todo el grupo? Si es eso lo primero es desagrupar las capas para poder trabajarlas de manera individual. Mira también que no tengas ninguna capa o subcapa bloqueada. EDIT: Igualmente se podria optimizar el flujo de trabajo, esta super bien pero hay algunas cosas que están sobrecomplicadas.

It is a predefined percentage figure to achieve the output using SSR method. (Scale-Sheer-Rotate).

Oh no, it wasn't intended. I apologize for that mistake. In that part, I put a full-size shape behind and then I made another shape to create half dark part. It may look confusing because those are Behind the main cube. Now rewatch that part 03:22 to understand what I said.
