Today we bring you homemade vegan croquettes with a unique flavor.They are super easy and have nothing to envy to those of a lifetime.Even we can assure you that they taste better
INGREDIENTS:
- 200 g of raw mushrooms
- 1 medium onion
- Oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 g wheat flour
- 60 g fresh spinach
- 750 ml of vegetable milk (we use rice)
- 1 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 ground black pepper
- 160 g of breadcrumbs
- 50 g of chickpea flour
- 130 ml of water
· We start by heating oil to taste to brown the chopped garlic cloves.
· When golden brown add the onion and cook a few minutes until it is poached.
· Add the mushrooms and cook 10 minutes.
· Once the 10 minutes have passed we add the spinach and cook until they are consumed in size.
· Touch add the flour, mix and let it toast for about 5 minutes so that it is not raw
· Now you will see how the magic happens (xD). We will be adding vegetable milk little by little, always stirring.
· When you have a large mass that detaches from the edges it is ready.
· Reserve and let cool. To cool faster we separate the dough into two different flat containers.
· Once the dough is cold we will make balls in the form of croquettes.
· To batter them instead of using egg we will make our preparation by mixing in a separate bowl the chickpea flour with the water. We mix well
· We will start by dipping the croquettes first in this mixture and then in breadcrumbs.
· Touch frying so we will heat a lot of oil in a pan. Put enough oil, which cybers half of the croquette so that it browns the same on all sides. If you want you can make them in the oven although they are not the same, but they will be rich too.
· Once fried, let them cool a little before trying them.
