The thing is I hear some say this ruins Vegeta's character after he admitted Goku was better than him in the Buu saga. That they should be all good but now Vegeta is back to hating Goku again. The way I see it is just because Vegeta admits Goku is better doesn't mean he's gonna let Goku leave him in the dust. Without their rivalry Vegeta would just be going through the motions and would have no one to push him. Like in GT from what I remember Vegeta just stayed the same until Bulma discovered a way to get him to super saiyan 4 and in that moment Vegeta felt like he could close the gap between them and maybe even get stronger than him.

But thankfully, Vegeta has well and truly put his villain days behind him. And Goku knows this. I'll be honest though. I'm surprised that Vegeta stayed calm while Frieza yelled at Bulma. I honestly expected him to get the Beerus treatment from the Saiyan prince. 😅

I Feel Liked Vegeta Didn't Get Enough Revenge. At least in this Scene of the Movie. In The Show He Whooped for a bit longer.

Given his track record of becoming stronger than his previous opponents post first Super Saiyan transformation, the writers would have had Vegeta screw it up by toying with Freiza, followed by Vegeta giving another speech about Saiyan pride followed by Frieza outsmarting Vegeta by playing on said Saiyan pride and then Goku would have to save the day, again.

SupremeCody Gaming Bro... Super saiyan blue is the god form with regular super saiyan. If he wasn’t able to use the regular red god form, he couldn’t use blue either.

Going back to when we only had the two movies, it was pretty obvious that Vegeta could transform. Attaining SSJ God was pretty straight forward since they knew what to do. And he was training under Whis with Goku so you just figured he was up there too.
