ഹലോ ഭദ്ര... കൊള്ളാം നന്നായി പാടി. സാഹിത്യം മനസ്സിലാക്കി പാടുന്നതിൽ ഒരു ചെറിയ പിശക് പറ്റിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. "വരിനെല്ലിൻ ചുണ്ടിലെ കിരുകിരെ കിന്നാരം പകരുവാനോടി വാ.. കാറ്റേ.. വാ.." എന്നാണ് ശരിയായ സാഹിത്യം. അതായത് വിളഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കുന്ന നെൽപാട നടവരമ്പിലൂടെ നടന്നാൽ നമ്മുടെ കാലുകളിലും ദേഹത്തും കാറ്റിലാടുന്ന നെൽ കതിരുകൾ ഉരുമ്മും. പൂത്ത് നിൽക്കുന്ന നെല്ലിനെ ആ സമയം തൊട്ടു നോക്കിയാൽ ഒരു കിരുകിരുപ്പ് അനുഭപ്പെടും. അങ്ങിനെ വരമ്പിലൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ദേഹത്ത് വന്നുരുമ്മി നെൽകതിരുകളുടെ കിരുകിരുപ്പിന്റെ ആ പുന്നാരിക്കലനുഭവിപ്പിക്കാൻ കാറ്റേ നീ ഇതുവഴി വന്ന് ഒന്ന് വീശൂ എന്നാണ് കവി എഴുതിയ സാഹിത്യാർത്ഥം. മൃദുല പാടുന്നത് 'വരിനെല്ലിൻ ചുണ്ടിന് കിലുകിലെ പുന്നാരം പകരുവാനോടി വാ.. കാറ്റേ വാ' എന്നാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ പാടുമ്പോൾ അർത്ഥം ആകെ മാറും. ചരണത്തിൽ "നല്ലോര് നാളില് മാളോരാമണ്ണില് തുള്ളിക്കളി കാണാൻ കാറ്റേ വാ " എന്നാണ് പാടുന്നത്. ശരിക്കുമത് "നല്ലോരാ നാളിലേ.. മാളോരാ മണ്ണിലേ തുള്ളിക്കളി കാണാൻ കാറ്റേ വാ... " എന്നാണ്. മനുഷ്യരെല്ലാരും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ തുള്ളിക്കളിക്കുന്ന ഒരു നല്ല നാളെ വരും അത് കാണാനും കാറ്റേ നീ വരണം എന്നാണ് കവി അർത്ഥമാക്കുന്നത്. പറഞ്ഞത് ശരിയോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിച്ച് ശരിയെങ്കിൽ ഇനി പാടുമ്പോൾ തിരുത്തുമല്ലോ?. ആശംസകൾ..
