Nope, he is only known as Shaggy when he was first appeared in the animated show back in 1969, they came up with his first name later in the 80s and even then he is still only known as Shaggy, there is no reason to call him by his real name now, it's like calling Palpatine by his first name Sheev now, it's weird and confusing.

People mostly hate-watched it and gave their negative reviews on it. People on forums said not to do that, because viewership is seen as high ratings to the companies. But no one listens. 🤷‍♀️

I feel like episode 3 still too early but they're probably sitting there like haha we'll get them a little bit what they want and these idiots will accept it then we'll seep in the message like slow poison and I think a lot of people with rose tinted glasses are just overlooking things admittently it is good you can't deny it but that doesn't mean it's not invested and they still want an agenda sigh kind of reminds me it like DLC and microtransactions in the games they slowly do it until you get used to it and get over it

Season 2 will reveal that this Velma is from an alternate reality and she will jump into the original series and gets erased from reality by the original crew. This franchise will be saved!

Daphne and Velma being Lesbians was never implied in the original series. In the original series Velma May had an implied attraction for either Fred or Shaggy. Daphne had an attraction implied attraction for Fred. Sometimes it seemed like Fred was having an implied threesome with Velma and Daphne every time they split up and left Shaggy with Scooby.

The roundtable brought up that it's a standard practice for an animated streaming shows to get greenlit for at least 2 season. So that if the first season is a hit they have another one ready to go 🤔. Also, let's remember that Velma is a bad show because of bad writing and an unlikable lead and characters. Not purely because it's pushing some "woke" stuff 🤨.
