Tried this kichidi.. Really came very well.. I used 3 cups water with less ghee.. Post 4pm also taste very well... I always do some mess with rava upma.. From now on no more mess.. Thanku chef ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Correct haha. Initially he used to say I won't offer any modifications, this is how we do it in the hotel. Now, modifications are showing up haha. Appreciated though, especially including how the modification will change the dish.

Oil is not an issue at all. It’s the carbs that gets converted to fat due to high intake of rice and sugar.

Thank you for the recipe. Actually I can't wait trying the recipes as soon as I see your videos with all the wonderful explanations you provide..... I have tried it today for brekfast and came out very well. Best thing is there was some quantity left till night, I have not even stored it in fridge. Thanks for this wonderful recipe! I never liked Kichadi in my life, I ignore this dish even during wedding feast. But after looking this video, I felt like trying it and I did so. It came out really well. I just did exactly whats being said in the video. Then I understood that I didn'y have a proper kichadi when I had it for the first time and so I ignored most of the time :)

Wow Sir , Super many are hesitant to share the actual way of hotel preparation. That too a person owning and managing restaurant chain sharing the secret is something great, that shows the confidence you possess in your skills. Thanks for reaching out to many people like us and sharing the recipe secrets, which we see rarely in people owning restaurants/hotel.

True. I am a cookbook author myself. I also teach cooking. I find one of the joys of cooking is in the sharing. He is confident of his skills in the culinary area and love that he shares small secrets that many dont share. U made a good point
