We tried the recipe to the dot, followed all the steps and the output is as he said in his video, excellent. We made in during the weekend get together and all the people, most of them tasted it for the first time and fell in love with the dish and asked for the recipe. Hats off Chef Bhat.

Made this kolumbu today without the vadai. It turned out so well. I served it with piping hot idlis. Quite a hit! Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe. Will try the vadai bit next time.

I did this combination today for our Sunday breakfast. I came out so good. Only the color was not that much yellowish, bit of brownish. But taste was so good and my 86 year old father had and gave me A1+ grading... So I am passing it on to you. Thank you so much for sharing.

ஆமாம் ஆமாம் நாராயணன் கடை சுண்டலும் அதுமேல வெங்காயமும் எப்ப நினைத்தாலும் வாயூறும் ஒரு வடையையும் பிச்சிபோட்டு சாப்பிடும்போது எங்க சீனியர் ஆடிட்டரும் சரி பக்கத்துல உள்ள சிவா விஷ்ணு கோவிலும் மறந்தே போகும். 25 வருடங்கள் பின்னே போய்வந்தேன் நன்றி நண்பரே.

Hello Chef. I am your fan from New Delhi. I am a Tamilian settled in Delhi since past 43 years. I am married to a Punjabi person so I cook both north and South Indian dishes but didn’t have a good guide to teach me authentic South Indian dishes and your videos are a blessing. Thank you for the wonderful recipes chef. The way you explain is so detailed and easy to follow. Please share how to make kathirikkai Kothsu which is served with ghee pongal. I had it once in my grandparents house but still haven’t been able to make it that tasty. Thank you 🙏🏼

Excellent recipe... I have a request... plz give the measurements which serves 4... It will be useful for beginners to follow... They can't do it in large quantities in their first attempt... experienced people can adjust their measurements accordingly... Just a request:)

I have never liked vada curry... But since its your recipe tried it out.. it came out very nicely.. my hubby is a foodie.. he has tasted vada curry many places.. but he said nothing has come as good as this one... Credits to u Sir. I will share photos with you on insta.. ❤️

Hi i am your great fan and the Bisi bela bath you taught was a great hit also your Set dosas. Now on my own i tried 1 cup Jowar flour with 2 spoons of rice flour and little curry leaves, green chillies made this rava dosa style came out very nice. Same with ragi flour. Now i tried sama millet flour also tastes very nice. I make same thokku but instead of adding water , grind it in to chutney and it lasts easily for 3-4 days.Thank you

Nostalgic sir. Am from West Mambalam. Saidapet Mari Hotel vadacurry is very famous. Next is vani Mahal Sundal vadai and Bonda and milagai bajji. Bhat sir those who tasted and enjoyed only could understand the feelings. Every Saturday evening we go to vani Mahal as a family and used to enjoy it. One more place is Brilliant Tutorial nearby onion ghee podi dosai. Coming to today's recipe ....What should I say.....Appappappa...adadadadaaaa.....

There is always a relationship between food and ourselves , which is very unique from person to person, I can very well relate the same when you recollect with the memories of whom each receipe is attached with , really respect you a lot for being always grateful and humble. Awesome recipe Bhat ji. Incidentally I grew up in saidapet but never tried this as this is not part of our cuisine. My husband just happened to see this video last night and instantly became exited to try this. This afternoon we tried this and it came out so very well . Never thought that we could make these at home . Thanks so much for the recipe. 😊
