The kids are doing some very nice work and that's a cool Santa Claus beard!

Great awning, not to mention the forge. Lovely kids learning a great skill. Great to see you back, thank you! PS - A DIY induction heater/melter might go nicely with the forge?

Good to see you again Todd! I guess you weren't satisfied with looking like the "Colonel" so you're going for Santa Clause now! LOL

Just found your channel Todd. Some cool videos and see you have been around awhile! Thought you might be located in the southeast somewhere with that Colonel Sanders beard! Lol!....but see you are in good ole ND! Welcome back! Been a really wet summer/fall and that overhang sure was a good idea. Good work with the forge, an almost lost art. Those are your kids? Veronica and Alex. Veronica has some talent there forging a corkscrew especially for a first try. Sure looking forward to seeing more of your videos! I too live in the sticks just north of Fargo. Family has been here since 1881. Best wishes and 73. Kevin KB0BRY

Great to hear from you! I should get back into HAM now that I have property where I can put up a tower, I even have the tower pad on my property where a 30 foot tower once stood and the leg mounts are still there cemented into the pad so I only need to bolt up a new tower and run some line. Well, another project for another day. I do have some HAM radio posts on my channel under the play list: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gb11atmGsM2RgXk.html

@@ToddFun I was gone from this area also for about 12 years. Decided to move back about 23 years ago. Took a couple years to get my tower up. I work some contests. Not so many ND stations on HF. I have a 520 almost exactly like yours. Good luck getting back on the air. Even a dipole gets good results.

you missing the real question did he take his high tech toilet with him?

BaaHahaha No didn't. Kind of miss it but it was way too much to keep clean so I'm OK having a simple gravity flusher.

Hi FnordOok I moved back to ND to my home town. I inherited an old 118 year old house I grew up in ND on 4 lots in a super small town and I'm getting closer to retirement. Plus my Daughter is going to MED school at University of North Dakota which isn't to far and that's nice as well.
