New products may work great for awhile then my hair breaks up the relationship with that product(s). That Kinky Curly Product Line will always be waiting on me to come back and with loving arms embrace and revive my curls everytime. No matter how long it's been that I stepped out with the other products! Lol!🤣

I quit using Wetline and exclusively use Kinky Curly. Wetline drys my hair out by day 5 or 6 and the custard doesn't. I use Cantu shea Butter leave in along with Melanine curling cream. I top it off with Kinky curling gel.

Kinky Curly definitely looks better. I noticed you had the scrunchie on that side while you were doing the Camille Rose side. That may be why it was longer since it was unintentionally stretched.

Love this comparison, I have 3c/4a hair and this helps me see the outcome with these diff products as your current pattern is similar to my own. Had me lol at "people are going to judge me.."🤣. Great content as always!

You’ve got me missing my KCCC!! I started using that custard more than a decade ago, long before there were so many custards on the market. Kinky Curly was OG and I loved it. But as the years went by, my head got turned by the promise of soft curls and volume. To be honest, though, I’m realizing that I miss that definition and shine. Nice review. You hair looked lovely . I have used both products over the years. KC is my go to , lasts longer for sure so less manipulation for me. Camille rose I use when I cant get my KC. Knot today is my all time go to , I may try the camille rose leave in based on your review when I get the gel. By day 7 a nice updo - afro puff , half up half down.

Thanks for another great review! Love your curls on both sides...but I favor the kinky curly custard. It is a staple and has been for years and years. I combine mine with the Curls Creme Brule Curl cream and I apply both while my hair is soaking wet in the shower. ( When I get low on both, I'll combine in a jar to save time). However, I love the longevity and length retention of the Knot Today combo you demonstrated. I might try that.

I always had to mix aloe vera and a light oil to the Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In to make it work for me in the past so that's why I started using other leave ins over the years.

At first I was loving the Camille Rose better, but longevity wins. This was cool! Thanks for sharing. Curious to see how the Camille Rose products with the Xtreme gel will work.

Thank you for another fabulous review. I am an advent fan of all Camille Rose hair products. The Camille Rose Curl milk or fresh curl paired with Curl Maker are my staples for a voluminous wash-n-go just as you demonstrated here. The volume along with the softness is what I prefer overall. My wash-n- go last about a week and a half and longer if just refresh-go (only if pressed for time). But, I am happy with that! Another thing that I appreciate about Camille Rose curl maker is it's not sticky or gummy. That is something I have discovered about other curl definers and deters me from exploring other gel products. However, I think am going to give Kinky Curly a try. Very good upload with awesome products. Kinky Curly is a staple topper. It works great for me over Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic or as a topper over Camille Rose Curl Maker. As a topper, focusing primarily on the perimeter and ends of my hair. Kinky Curly also helps against the effects of high humidity.

Love this series. I think perhaps that CR leave-in is too moisturizing for that gel. I always found that Curl Maker did not need a leave-in. I love both products. Thank you for this, very well done and very informative 👌🏾👏🏿

I’m late to the game when it comes to Kinky Curly products, but I think I really like the curling custard. I’m still testing it out to see how MUCH I like it. I didn’t care for it when I paired it with the Knot Today, but after pairing the curling custard with the Camille Rose honey hydrate leave-in I think I just might be in love! Your hair is gorgeous btw. I was definitely loving the Kinky Curly side for the long haul, but honestly both sides looked good!

The kc knot today isn’t moisturizing enough for me to use as a leave-in at all. However, I do love the custard with other leave-ins.

My sure thing is kinky curly and oyin juice & berries after it dries for the crunch. But nothing beats kinky curly. NOTHING!!!

This was interesting. That KC knot today is my ride or die, till the end of days holy grail, BUT mainly for detangling purposes. Not so much as a specific leave in. Somehow I made it through almost 20y of being natural and strictly wearing wash n go’s without ever trying a Camille product (don’t strike me down ya’ll 😅) - for no reason, just never got around to it. Same with the KC curling custard tbh since I never really used gel for my w&g’s, stick with LOC method with the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie as my last step, high bun to stretch till “dry,” and shake. Done ✔️lol Nice experiment / comparison though, If I were replicating, I’d go with the KC side, I feel like that side lasted a little longer and looked better as days went by, and could be resurrected easier, if you needed to do a mid week refresh. Or mix product, Camille leave in + kinky curly custard and then wetline

I also use Kinky Curly Spiral Curl to add to my curl definition. 7-9-2022(Sat.)
