Matt McLoughlin have it in gold and it's very comfortable. Fits nicely under cuffs which you can't say about the 2014 version. The dial is beautiful and my tritium pearl is intact.

I always loved the original Rainbow Flyback, there was a jewellers that had one in a window of mostly jewelry, hardly any watches except for this one, I always stopped to look at it when I passed. I could never have afforded it back then but it was my dream watch. Just managed to acquire one recently, it dates from 1999 and looks like new - finally managed to get my grail watch. I obviously prefer the original, I'm not so keen on the thicker bezel of the Stratos Rainbow Flyback but it would make a great companion watch.

Both. But the 2014 it's my day day chrono. And play in other league for the price (arround 4000$) you can not find anything better . Just amazing

Can you tell me the smallest/shortest bracelet setup (approx. wrist size) on the 90s one?

Suguru Nishioka you could wear it on a small wrist, say 6.5 inches. My wrist is about average but my gf has a small wrist and it was resized for her. She loves the tool look while my model is all gold.

A tachymeter seems rather useless even if every chronograph from the Daytona to the Speedmaster and all the imitators seems to have it. A telemeter makes more sense.
