Ion said at blozzcon that the new raid is supposed to have more verticality to it. The reduced fall damage could actually be more useful than expected.

All Rogue specs are gonna be wanting that Poison Pact ring. Really good secondary stats for Sub and Sin, little bit worse for Outlaw, but we're constantly doing lots of nature damage. So I can see that getting procced lots for specifically Rogue more than the 4 procs per minute Wowhead seems to say.

Im really glad they are trying to make gearing more interesting, ever since they normalized stats gearing has become exceptionally boring and having even a few slots per raid tier of gear that has wacky stat budgets makes things interesting. Even if I would prefer to just having reforging back but that is a dream that will never happen.

I wish that the very rare items with a special effect were more specific for classes, like the eranog ring should have only been BiS for fire using specs imo

That shield has to be a misprint. I can't imagine they intend to have a strength int shield expecially with the values being so different. I would think that the int is actually stam, but I guess they could make an "of the eagle" stat variant for seemingly no purpose.🤷‍♂

The warp blade averaging over the course of a dungeon is only like 1-2% on an enhance shaman running stormbringer. While this may be better value on a raid boss, it seems to have a low proc chance/effect. Especially with the loss of secondaries (and in enh specifically it being straight crit and being bad) unsure if this is gonna be a BiS weapon for them.

No secondaries lost, it’s full budget just all rolled into crit

Dathea also had fall damage if you messed up. Tindral technically could if you really messed up I guess, lol.

Why would brewmaster want to use the polearm? Haste is by far their worst stat, and they do need the main stat a lot

So exited i will be able to play those in fated season... if they will backtrack ridiculous affix changes in m+, otherwise i will never need to worry about obtaining those

?? Poisoned Pact is a great Rogue Rare item. Same with the fist weapon if you play Outlaw. Outlaw loves funny green text stuff.

I hate the increased fomo blizzard is bringing into the game. I don’t like raiding but im forced to or i don’t get these most likely bis weaps and items.

Like I get it, but at the same time raiding is the flagship experience for WoW. So I’d say try to find a guild in your skill level that meets your schedule. It’s one of the funnest things to do in game and the friends you make can carry over into the gameplay you enjoy more.

People hate when raids have good items. Then they hate when dungeons have good items.. it's a raid man of course it's gonna have cool stuff.

i really hope you can try out raiding, find a good guild a try it sometime, its lots of fun learning a fight and the exitement of a boss finally dying, progress can be the best and the worst of wow, but if you stick to normal raiding most bosses will die

Before dungeons didn't give comparable loot at all. When they capped at heroic you had no option but to raid. How is it increased fomo if the gear is almost the same?

@@BookofscrawlsYeah, I can almost guarantee this guy doesn't do any content where he needs BIS gear anyway (since he's already complaining about raiding lmao). There will always be people that just want "BIS items" for the sake of having them and not for any actual purpose, and as long as they don't just get them handed to them for free, they'll complain.
