This dude is incredible! Alll I had when I was 10 yrs. old was that big file, we always rode our horses on dirt trails. I would love to have those other tools

Thanks! I really appreciate that. I was fortunate to learn form a talented farrier down in southern CA and was able to make a carrier of it. Most of my hand tools come from that same farrier who helped me get my Rig together.

Dude your job is physically very difficult, but it benefits the horses. I really liked your skill and dexterity in your work. I also liked that your videos do not have extraneous music and chatter like the others. Only natural sounds of instruments, and it is very pleasant to listen to and watch

Seems the horse enjoys getting shoed. Must be like a day at the spa for them :-D

Many people are asking if the horse felt any pain or discomfort during this. No, the horse doesn't feel any pain whatsoever as this process is same as we humans getting pedicure. The guy who is doing this is clearly experienced in his work and the horse is also smart enough to understand what he's owner is doing to him

I gotta say the striping on that horses hoof is beautiful, it almost reminds me of a candy cane

What is the blue plastic/ brown putty looking stuff you sometimes put on the frog before shoeing? How long can it be there before getting manky?
