Hello. No you don’t need to empty the tank. Close the fuel crane. If you are lucky the hose for the fuel and the hose for the oil are long enough so that you can lift the tank out without removing them. If they aren’t long enough you can loosen them by the carburettor and back them out with the tank. Remember to plug the oil hose with something so the oil doesn’t pour out.

No battery should be needed, it runs on 12ac/dc.

This is not a problem I have come across myself, so I don’t have a good answer to this question. The first thing is of course to check all wiring. I assume the rpm has worked from start and then given up?

If it hasn’t worked from the start then you can check that the brown wire is connected right.

Can you get a cable/wire through the chassis that you can attach to the connector and then pull it through?

@@Nordicexplorer1 I have passed a steel cable (the one from the clutch) the cable passes, but when putting the connector on both one side and the other it always gets stuck

@@joseae072 from which end are you trying to pull it through? How far do you get before it get stuck/ do you know where it get stuck?

@@Nordicexplorer1 I have tried in all ways, with the female connector and with the male, from rear to front and from front to rear, it always gets stuck at the brake pedal, I have tried everything. The cable only passes, I have tried another cable, but the connector does not.

@@joseae072 have you removed the plastic in the bottom under the fuel tank, this way you can get your arm in and reach all the way to the brake pedal. Or you can remove the brake pedal and maybe see something that way. Have you tried to pull it through on each side of the steering head, on the side where the clutch cable goes and on the side where the throttle cable goes?

I once asked my friend who also uses a SIP speedometer like the one you use in this video, and he said that if the speedometer is used in rainy conditions there are traces of rainwater that gets into the glass through the corners of the speedometer, is that right?

@@Nordicexplorer1 so the speedometer is still safe to use in rainy conditions, no water gets into the glass through the corners of the speedometer glass?

@@cinunuk99 I’m on my second bike with this speedo and so far that has never happened. On the other hand it’s not that often I ride in rain. But it hasn’t happened when I’m washing the bike either.
