Last year I finished building my timber frame building addition.

I was looking at LP heaters vented and ventless but wall space and floor space is limited. I was constantly seeing these VEVOR diesel heaters on facebook and on ebay. I figured now was the time to try one out and let you guys know how well they work and what to expect.
These units cost less than 100$ and have an intake and exhaust pipe. that need to be vented outdoors. They take diesel fuel or kerosene ive heard can be used. They run off of 12 volts which is great for off grid users who have 12v solar systems!

You can remove the controller, extend the wires and mount in the room you are heating and it will run more efficiently by itself.

I thought so, I didn’t see any extra wire and I pulled at it a bit but it didn’t pop out. I’ll try again get a bit more aggressive with it. Do you know how to change F to C?

Well I got aggressive with it. Its definitely double sided taped on, even into the little cradle. I pried the tabs back then tried prying the unit out and i could see foam tape holding it IN its cradle AND foam tape holding the cradle on. Did yours have this? Or is this one not made for removing the controller unit?

To change from c to F press the temp up/down buttons at same time.. your welcome

doing that on the remote changes it into manual mode where you adjust the fuel rate to control temp. Doing that on the face unit causes it to switch between 12v and 24v mode. . .@@topcat15191961
