Thank you for the great video guys! I just bought one but haven’t received it yet. I am getting the 8kw you put in a harder case that you guys mentioned. Again great no nonsense video!

I have had one for a few years that I use for moose hunting. Mine has a slightly different looking controller on it but the display looks the same. I am able to choose a few different heat modes, you can set the fan speed, you can set the hertz and you set the thermostat to a desired temp and it ramps up and down like a normal furnace. So you set your temp and it holds it all night, might keep you guys from overheating.

That sounds much better. Next heater purchase we’ll have to look for those options. We still use wood for moose hunting but bringing the heater might be our next move! Thanks for the ideas

why not put the heater outside the tent as far away as the inlet alows then you wount have all that noise, also that a vent hole on top of the cap you might get low fuel pressure as the day goes on. and when i use mine i let it run almost out and i dont refill untill i get to my destination then when im all set up with the heater outside and the hot air hose coming into the tent thats when i fill her up

One trip we did but it didn’t run as hot. The noise is okay. No issues sleeping

How many hours or days/nights camping are you getting off the 200AH battery just wondering if one would be good or id have to buy 2, I need something that’s good enough for spending 3 nights and 4 days on the ice or 4 nights and 5 days on the ice total without having to bring a generator as well to charge it, I’m trying to switch from propane to diesel heat as well but I want it to be practical and not have to haul a million things out

Over a week using it in the garage on all pump settings

Hi Ashley, Why do you have the unit inside the tent? Did you find it wasn't giving off adequate heat when outside?
@chasenashleyoutdoors76323 ай бұрын
Yes. It did seem to run colder outside. When we do the upgrade we’ll be able to duct it inside and keep it outside but this model doesn’t have that option.
@facts17522 ай бұрын
@@chasenashleyoutdoors7632 hi will you upgrade that exact unit to add the intake air duct?, or is there another model that has a intake air duct that can go inside the tent from the outside to circulate the warm air?
@chasenashleyoutdoors76322 ай бұрын
It would be a differ unit.
