This is a new series I've started explaining the basics of VEX for algorithmic design / procedural modeling which I'm using on daily basis.
In this 8th episode, I'm explaining what and how to use conditionals in VEX so that after this you'll be able to use VEX as your programming tool for practical usage.

Thank you for the videos. As a professional C++/C# software engineer, I struggled with VEX doc and your videos made it much easier to understand Houdini & VEX. Just finished watching parts 1-3.

for an attribute wrangle you can just type aw in the tab menu to quickly get your wrangle

Ohayo Junichiro. Domo gozaimasu for all your work. I have been really enjoying all your content but felt little loss because I did not understand VEX and this video series made all the difference! You are really making this type of design more accessible and I can't thank you enough for giving me the courage to jump into Houdini! Wondering if you had any experience with tounchdesigner.

I think the "AB*D" is the regular expression. You told that * mean more or one character. contrary to your description, in the regular expression document in C, * means this match 0, or 1 or more of the previous character. Is the regular expression in VEX different from the regular expression in C?

Thanks for the tutorial, bro. I would like to ask. Why you are using "inpointgroup" instead of shorter @group_g1? Is there any reason for this or it's just more comfortable for u?
