Thanks! Every VFR since the dawn of time has had a single-sided swingarm. It was developed by elf racing in the 80's. I think the only VFR not to have a SSSA is the VFR250.

I had a solid white Ninja back in the 80's painted the wheels to match, and got lots of compliments on the bike, you could try that with your VFR, but either way I love the Honda VFR's, nothing sounds like that V4

Never could get my vfr off the ground no matter how I tried. No idea how you managed it but great short video!

First gear only. Rev into vtec go to 8-9 rpm or higher drop it down to 7.5 and hit the throttle fast. I would suggest starting the “throttle hit” at 9 or 8 drpping from 9-10 since half throttle at 7.5 will get you to balance point pretty easy. It really only likes power wheelies I think the transition into vtec takes too long to for clutch ups
@AimlessMoto
@AimlessMoto 2 жыл бұрын
@Mason nailed it... power wheelies in 2nd can happen, but you really need a clutch-dump to get the wheel up quickly.

This is so sick, have you disconnected the linked braking system or do you have it lole stock?
@AimlessMoto
@AimlessMoto 2 жыл бұрын
Left the linked break system... worked very well, and it only really kicks in if your at speed. Doing a standing burnout doesn't put enough pressure on the front slave cylinder to activate the rear brakes.

This just makes me think. How tf can you do a burnout with linked brakes
@sincere35s93
@sincere35s93 3 жыл бұрын
I actually was wondering this very same thing
@AimlessMoto
@AimlessMoto 3 жыл бұрын
Because you're not applying force to the front brakes via rolling resistance, you can lock up the front wheel at a full stop and put hardly any pressure on the rear. Once the front brake is locked the fork-mounted master cylinder can't compress any further.
@sincere35s93
@sincere35s93 3 жыл бұрын
AimlessMoto so the rear brake isn’t activate if you use the front brake standing still?
@matamatamata
@matamatamata 9 жыл бұрын
How do you burnout with that CBS system ?
@AimlessMoto
@AimlessMoto 9 жыл бұрын
+matamatamata It's non ABS, it's just a Linked braking system. It only works when the bike is in motion... the pressure of the left front rotor pushing on the left front caliper will apply braking pressure to the rear brake on one of the two pistons... Likewise, pressing the rear brake will activate the right front caliper on one of the 3 pistons. If you're at a dead stop, you can simply lock up the front wheel, and as long as the wheel doesn't rotate, you will not push any fluid to the rear caliper... thus, burnout. :)I doubt you'd be able to ride a rolling burnout because of this system, but a stationary one is simple.

Don't lean down on the forks too hard. Once the wheel starts spinning lean back a bit off the bars.
