Armie Hammer's voice is incredible.

I can tell you why Fincher made the decision to use Armie's voice for both characters: It's because Armie has much better delivery with his lines. Josh doesn't have the vocal range that Armie's voice has.

Having not seen Armie Hammer before the movie, I just assumed they used twin actors. The FX was that good.

I guess the actor was so important that they couldn't find a pair of identical twins to play the parts.

Fincher's use of special effects is unparalleled, he calls no attention to them and you just buy into it. Then watch a vfx reel and go "wtf that part was all cg???"

They look so similar already though. I can't even tell.

the crazy part is that Josh Pence went to an Ivy league college and was on the rowing team and competed against the actual Winklevoss twins years before this movie came out. Wild. Josh isn't even unattractive, but realistically, they probably chose Armie as the twin face because they thought he had more physical/ivy league appeal. Especially with that sexy voice.

I understand Armie did well in this role but jeez this feels like so much work to go through

It would have been interesting if they hadn't revealed whose face would be replaced until after filming ended.

The CGI on the scene rowing was highly noticeable. I thought there was something wrong w his face, then i learned it was just one actor playing them both
