Have had mine for over a year and it's been awesome. Really strong steaming power for something so small. Steam 6oz of milk in 10 seconds.

I've got this machine since 2 year by now. Very happy with it. My recommandation : Setting the pressure a little bit higher (1.75 bar) so that the temperature will be better. You just have to turn a screw on top of the machine(under the yellow button). I also use a 4 holes steam endcap. The machine come with à 2 holes. You can find it on internet. So Enjoy.

Nice machine and lovely end to the video. :-) However, I opted for Rocket Giotto Evoluzione R for my purchase as it is equipped with a rotary pump and a bit larger boiler. Still, an excellent choice.

I have the domo super from feb 2009. Built like a tank. Solid. Durable. Really nice looking. Not tons of electronics to go wrong. Heat is the enemy of electronics and espresso is all about heat. Mine is now over 8 years old and never an issue. DO THE BACK FLUSHING!!!! I did not and after wondering why my coffee was tasting so bad, and then when the gasket finally hardened, I took off the screen. WOOOO- EEE! It was not clean! Now I back flush at the last shot of the day.

BlackSwan912 wiping the underside of the grouphead (where you screw in the portafilter) with a cloth before back flushing takes away most of the grounds and reduces the amount of times needed to back flush in order to get it clean.

I back flush almost every week. How often do you recommend the shower to be changed ? Any other tips re servicing ?

I’ve actually changed my routine. To address a comment below, yes, wiping the grounds off each time keeps it tidier. The issue behind the screen, though, is the oils. Not the grounds, so much. So I still clean the screen and gasket every time, but no back flush. Instead, I remove the screen and the big dispersing flat plug, and clean everything with their special detergent. I only pull this off every three months or so. But I SHOULD do it every month. Hmm 🤔 I’m overdue right now. Be sure you flush really well. You don’t want to be drinking detergent! UPDATE: The heating element finally blew after a full decade of use. I had the guy replace solenoid and anything else. It was about $500 total. I had already replaced all the gaskets and valves once.

Bought mine from 1st line as well. Very happy with the purchase - recommend highly. Has to be one of the better values out there.

Hey guys, thank you for this. Was looking for trouble shooting and maintenance tips. The water coming out of our portafilter is on the warm side. Is there a way to turn up the temp? An adjustment?

Looking to start a small coffee cart- expecting 20-40 pours a few times a week. Is this a commercial grade machine? And will it hold up for a bit? Appreciate anyone with insight. TIA!

Negative. Go with a double Broiler. La Marzocco mini or something around $4500+ to start. Why La marzocco? Their after sales network is tops. Before buying check to see where and who can fix what you have. Downtime will kill you so it's good to know if they can come to you or you will have to wait a month to get it repaired.

WARNING The single shot filter holds 16grams of coffee. A Nespresso pod is 6 grams. If you have two single shots of Domobar in a morning that's 32grams of coffee!!! I wondered why I was getting the shakes late morning.... I now mix 50% decaf beans with normal and we split the single shot between us ( smaller cups) so now we still enjoy 2 cups a day but with 8 grams total of caffeinated coffee.

Nice machine, but it doesn't have a 3 way solenoid valve. E61 groups have a 3 way mechanically actuated valve...does the same thing but it's not a solenoid :)
