20 to 30 seconds are normal, this is why I explained in my first attempt that I made an over extraction. But even with such an over extraction the coffee was not bitter tasting. the grinding degree was too fine. With the second attempt it worked within the normal range. Just look at the time code from 7.30 to 8.00 with my second try. all the best Markus

Yes I really like the machine, it has excellent steam power, a good handcraft. An alternative is the Rocker R58. Up to now I did not hear about tecnical problems of the sold vibiemme dual boiler machines..

I noticed it took 60 seconds to pull your double shot. Any reason for that? Isn't 20-30 seconds more "normal"?

there is not a big difference of the crema in the machines, but in grinder, beans and operator :-)

Hallo EspressoTV! Ich hab daheim eine ähnliche Domobar wie im Video. Grad hab ich ein E61 Reparaturset bekommen und alles getauscht. Aber den oberen Bereich mit den 2 Imbusschrauben bekomme ich nicht auf. Das sitzt bombenfest. Woran liegt das? Könnt ihr mir das verraten? Ich habe eine andere E61 als in allen andeten Videos darüber gezeigt wird. Auch das Reparaturset passt nicht 100%. VG Ingo

I prefer R58: why??? 1) better finishing 2) PID hidden 3) espresso boiler has a 35° angle, so the water has a better thermoshiphonic system 4) my personal perception!!! kind regards Markus
