His father is from Ghana and his mother is a white American. He doesn't have any ancestry in the United States going back to slavery like most Black Americans.

Actually, Most African Americans has Ghana in their DNA, some were also taken during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. President Obama doesn't have any African ancestry in the United States, West Indies, or Latin America ect... (where the slaves were dropped off at different Ports). Obama's father was Kenyan, and that's in East Africa. Now, some AA get very small % of East African ancestry, but we are mostly West, Central, and a small % of South Africa.

this is dumb. we try to act like slavery doesn’t still impact all people considered black in this country. NOBODY IS LIKE “yo vic, i’m gonna treat you like a non-slave, cause your people weren’t slaves.” PLEASE

@@jeffreymccune4151 Slavery does not define our lineage and neither does other races and their treatment towards us. Our ancestors had entire lives before slavery and I'm living my life like it's golden. ☀
