Voodoo is powerful and real. I was vacationing in New Orleans one weekend and decided to eat some mushrooms and walk around the quarter all night. Middle of the night something told me to go down a particular alley. I did and from a doorway a woman stopped me and said “you need to come with me child.” And I did follow her inside to what was basically an old style botanica. She said she could feel my pain coming from blocks away. Oddly enough I was very fresh out of a painful breakup. She also said that a strong woman in my life was versed in the ways but lost them. That’s my grandmother with Alzheimer’s who I can remember practicing Appalachian Houdo with one of her close friends. No way she could’ve known all that. It blew my mind and I started incorporating it into my life that night.

@cap10moman
@cap10moman 10 жыл бұрын
I was about to comment about Hamilton's appearance as well, but your comment was the first (most recent) on the page. I haven't read other people's comments yet, but I'd imagine them saying something about him looking stoned, doped up, and/or unhealthily skinny. If not, that's the jist of what I was going to say. If you actually believe what you said and it wasn't just a comment about "the way things should be".....you might be the one with "deep mental issues". It's a well-know fact of life - your appearance matters. Your appearance will allow you to, or keep you from doing lots of things in life like: getting a certain job, entering certain social circles (whether you "want" to or not), getting a boy/girlfriend, your service at a restaurant, and the list goes on. You can hope and dream all you want, but see reality for what it is.....

I think the reason Hamilton is so skinny, is because instead of 60% of nutrient intake going to the brain, he has like 90% or 95%. I could listen to him all day, he's unbias and has rational thoughts, even when he's on some crazy drugs, everything from tribe culture drugs to full synthetic none tested hallucinogens made in a lab. He has that problem/solution mentality, and a great way of explaining what's going on as it happens. Keep up the great work VICE & Hamilton, Cheers!

what the heck does his voice and/or appearance have to do with anything? Fact is the documentaries are great and if all you can do is criticise appearance etc then it shows things. 1. That you're very superficial and immature and 2. That the content is good otherwise you'd be complaining about that. Personally I couldn't give a shit who the presenter is or what they look or sound like so long as they can produce some good content which this guy certainly does.

It still is silly, even after watching this. They basically conclude that it is the power of the the mind at this point. You can trick yourself into doing some crazy shit.

Make a tiny incision, draw some blood, smell it. You can tell if they're dead or alive. If you feel the impulse to run from the odor, it's dead.
