I was thinking something similar. There is years of video evidence of her having virtually no life whatsoever, yet trying to make engaging content about tasks as mundane as wiping counter tops in her kitchen. I was coming here to say this. There the campsite rule- try and leave someone as good or better than when you found them. She’s continually traumatizing every new partner. Trauma has the opposite effect on the brain, you cannot forget the traumatic things that happened to you, no matter how much you want to. Even when I disassociate, I still remember it. She hit people, screamed at them, and then played the victim after they defended themselves. People like that is scary and dangerous.

My mom went back to work and I had to step up as the oldest daughter and take care of the younger siblings and housework. I'm gIad too, I was floored when I went to nursing school at 18 and others didn't know how to do Iaundry or anything. 😮 I think everyone, male and female should be taught how to cook and do basic household chores and have some kind of paying job to prepare you for the real world. I'm glad I was, especially since I then Iost my mom at 18. That was decades ago, I've made my peace with it and have 2 grown sons of my own now. Who know how to take care of themseIves.

Yeah, I don't think they kicked her out at all, personally. I think they set boundaries and gave her an ultimatum that she didn't like, and she used a relationship with casey as a means to run away. She uses relationships as a mode of transportation- casey to arizona, Krystal to Oklahoma, destiny to Florida and then Kentucky, jade to Oklahoma again.

If he was adopted out of foster care, as a toddler, in the 90s, it really wouldn't have been very costly at all, not anymore then buying a used car or a few months rent. Being able to afford a one time cost decades ago does not constitute being well off by any means. They also lived in a one bedroom apartment with 4 adults for four years, if not longer, in one of the poorest parts of tucson. Not sure how that translates to someone being well off.

Unfortunately, the kindhearted souls are the ones that love somebody "warts and all" and the evil ones are the ones that see that and use it against them. 😔 I think Casey probably had self esteem issues before Amber even came around but Amber saw that and knew she could victimize Casey without too much of a fight. Amber took advantage of every situation she's ever been in and she didn't/doesn't care who she has to destroy in the process of getting what she wants. It's disgusting. It was chilling to see the list… I have an old ‘apology’ letter I had to write for an abusive ex, I kept it as a reminder of what an unhealthy relationship looks like. The things he made me apologize for and beg for forgiveness for were ridiculous. I’m so glad Casey got out, and I wish him all the best. I’m glad you got out too.

That mentality was also reflected during the livestream era, when she and Becky said she can’t be abusive because Becky was still her friend and staying in the house. Zero introspection. Absolutely no self-awareness or consideration that “hey maybe I’m repeating the cycle”. Becky saying that was understandable, and so was her staying with Amber. That’s how abuse works. The victim is often too trapped in the manipulation to realize what’s happening.

This is a reach, majority of women who've witnessed dv in their home have this view of not wanting to be abused like their mother was. They don't have to say they don't want to be like their father, because that should go hand and hand with the original statement of not wanting to experience dv in their personal relationship. Of course i never want to experience this from anyone ever again, who would? But more important to me is that the people i love more than myself never have to suffer the way i suffered.
