Well I don’t know if she can say that she has proof. By her own admission she spoke to the assistant who is the assistant who is the assistant to the assistant of Lorne Michaels. Hence, a person may have received the email but that doesn’t mean the message was conveyed to the people in charge. Given the the size of the event and last minute nature of the email it is plausible that her message may gotten lost. Also her views were known prior to her receiving an invitation, meaning if they wanted to exclude her they just wouldn’t have invited her in the first place.

She was one of the best. Of all the female former cast members she's the only one that pops in my head that I remember laughing at hysterically. She was brilliant and that cute little voice. She should have been front and center. She's a freaking legend in my book.

If your fellow Christians and your own preacher don't support you, maybe you should at least question the things you're saying. Even if Obama were Muslim (he isn't), why is that so threatening? It's a major world religion with a foundation in Judaism and Christianity. It's not any more violent that the other Abrahamic faiths, and like those religions, it has a great deal of good an beauty to it. I just don't understand the hate toward a faith who's members are as varied as any other.

Victoria Jackson was snubbed air time on the SNL 40th Anniversary Special for the following reasons: 1. Despite being a liberal when on SNL, she's currently conservative. 2. She opposes gay marriage 3. She's pro-Second Amendment Rights. 4. She wasn't an Obama supporter. Remove all 3 of those factors, and Lorne Michaels would have been like "of course you can be part of the festivities." Re-watch the special, and you'll notice that Sarah Palin was the only real conservative that was given face time on the special. But, that was only because Tina Fey portrayed Palin on SNL for a few episodes back in 2008.
