you poor souls, my heart truly goes out to all suffering with this condition. If feeling achy and sore from just the common cold means anything I can't imagine dealing with such flare ups like that all the time. I hope one day we further our understanding and treatments for such conditions

Thanks for sharing. I've had that happen to me and it's so hard dealing with it mentally and physically. Hope you have more good days and bad and the eventually is a cure for this.

It won't necessarily stop your flares but what has helped me a great deal is doing" the big six" that Perry Nicholston talks about here on KZfaq. It took down the swelling in my ankles & legs within 3 days. I admit the first morning after doing it I woke up feeling like I was hit by a train. But within a couple hours I was back to being okay. Within just over a week I lost the vast majority of cellulite on my thighs. I'm 74. My smoker friend, 62 years old, noticed a difference in her facial wrinkles within a week. It took two weeks of her doing the big six daily for me to see the difference in her face but then I did. The lymphatic system is a system that health care professionals just seem to be unaware of. Oh honey. I have been there. For my bachelor's graduation I was so swollen that my face was causing my eyes to squint. The pictures of everything are a reminder. One of the happiest events of my life and I didn't even look or feel like myself. Still walked across that stage, no matter how humiliated I was. I have SLE Nephritis, I relate.

Been there. Sorry you went through this as you are right, it takes more than a physical toll on you. When I was retaining water like that I was mentally and emotionally consumed with what my prognosis would be. May Gd continue to give you strength to fight.

You are beautiful through your journey. Wow and here I kept telling myself it was part of my blood clots resolution. That my legs would swell because of different things. All is coming full circle. Keep making these vids Queen. People like me in the beginning stages that haven't been yet diagnosed but have ALL the symptoms love these. How I even came onto the idea of lupus as it does run in my family but all my symptoms point to lupus now. No denying it

Su último incidente de lupus le causó retención de líquidos debido a funcionamiento renal inadecuado (edema). En una semana aumentó 35 libras debido al líquido. Aun así continué tratando de trabajar y mantenerse optimista. 😊
