⚡ *I love you guys' storytellin edit style!!* ⚡ "Xcellent" review 👀 😂 I'm glad there is a protective layer on the lights. I like that they have some new wheel options, although I'm not a fan of "rain" treads on wheels. Probably the best option in this form factor 🤙🏼🤙🏼

The Zealot S was my 1st electric skateboard. After getting into the bigger and heavier carbon fiber electric boards, I've been wanting another board that's around by the same size and feel as the Zealot S with a bit more power and range..... Yet Backfire Went the extra step with this really cool led lighting As well as their newer updated remote

I say yes, it's worth it. The Zealot looks better(subjective, but come on...) And backfire has much better customer care from what I've heard. Also, not sure if meepo includes additional pulleys, belts, and motor covers like backfire does.

The voyager is for commuter folk like me that just want a board for work and wont be customizing much. the Zealot is very customizable and likely for folk who ride more than just to work, in that case $200 is net that much money.

I have 2 g3,s and a zealot s. I wish they had a all maple board option. The flex in the board IMHO is so much better and provides a feedback that the carbon fiber board does not since it is way too stiff. I actually hate the carbon fiber board so i replaced the deck on my zealot s

Great video man! Any preference between the Zealot X and Meepo Voyager? The Voyager comes w 90mm and 105mm wheels, while backfire comes with just 1 set. But I've also heard backfire boards are better quality. Thanks!

I personally like how the trucks feel on the meppo better, but backfire is smoother on acceleration. build quality wise they're pretty similar

My meepo v4s ER goes 35mph, but it's not super stable. That board was a little cursed, it had a lot of features but not a fixed purpose. Maybe the zealot x would be better for higher speeds.

TBH I liked the V4s a lot, very carvy and fun. but yea for higher speeds, Zealot X will be better for sure.

Not a chance in hell does your v4s do 35mph. It can’t even reach 35mph without a person on it, let alone with a person.

@Dylan Smith that's kinda common. Lots of skateboards are sent out without being able to reach the max speed, they don't reach it in the factory test because it's dangerous. Mine only does it at a full charge as well. That sucks though because mine def does.

@@uncle-jalapeno- sorry man, but your v4s does not do 35mph.. been riding meepo boards for years, you’re not getting meepo voyager speeds out of a v4s. If you really do believe you are though, get a video of the GPS speed on your phone, and record yourself doing 35mph.

@Dylan Smith that may clear it up then. Ive been using the remote's speedometer. Multiple phone apps i've tried have been wrong as well though. Might have to race my friend's car and then see.

it's a bit harder to carve than say the meepo v4s, stiff deck helps with stability while sacraficing some ride comfort so IMO there's not a better or worse choice.

10.8KG for Zealot x and 10.5KG for Zealot S2. Not a noticable diffrence.

Backfire has fixed the locking issue, and yes acceleration is very smooth and quite torquey

Do you think the board is worth it at this price range. You could get an AT board at this price, something like the tynee Explorer. But is it better with a street board if you ride 95% on good asphalt.

Well, that's really a personal choice. I've been riding on PU wheels for a while and even ridden in grass. But if you want a very cushioning ride, then an AT board is a better choice.
