Releasing of the purple balloons is suppose to symbolize Ending of Covid. I think V was a big influence in this video. With V being the creator of "I Purple You", and now Purple being a official color for BTS. "I left a purple balloon in your dream" was a message that V sent to comfort one Army during Covid. V has also has been using a lot of sign language lately. So I think that he had them include it into this video as to help more Army to be able to understand this Video. V is a very thoughtful and caring person as well as the other members. Sign Language: Scratching their body while raising thumb and slightly benting rest of fingers means "Fun". Moving two fingers side to side on top of palm means "Dancing". Fingers up and down touching thumb means "Talking". Two fingers moving means "Walking". And holding up two fingers also means "Peace". This was a Celebration for Army (Showing different Ages, Genders, Nationalities, Jobs/Roles/Frontline workers, Diversity, and including their own Crew and staff). That was their crew and staff at the end of video. BTS loves their Army and not wanting to leave out anyone.

You could see throughout the MV how BTS is making and storing up the balloons, so they can release them all (as in the latter part of the MV) when the time comes. I think they also symbolizes the seats in their concerts/tours, because of how Korean fans call the empty seats “포도grapes”, a term also used in Mic Drop(SUGA’s rap verse). They are so gonna tour the whole world when the day comes, and they are showing that they’re already preparing! Oh, and thanks to Jorden for another great reaction!
