I know. It's unimaginable. You can still see and hear his disgust for Cruz, rightfully so. Cruz displayed the same type of behavior as a serial killer. He has no remorse. He went back to the scene, and surrounding area, so he could watch the drama and interact with victims. Once caught, he tried to pretend he was crazy. He is continuing his antics in the courtroom. I'm glad Mr. Wilford said he did not know him and never met him. That's the best way to torture a narcissistic psychopath.

I have a hard time with these lawyers questions. Some of them it's like they don't even listen to what the witness is saying and some questions to me have nothing to do with the case . Omg it drives me crazy

They don’t. Unfortunately, regardless of what a suspect has done like murdering individuals, they too have the same legal rights as someone who has a petty drug charge. Sucks, but that’s the law.

I have felt the same suicidality and mental torment of a mass murderer like the dude on trial here but I don't have the psychology to turn the feelings outward to harm or threaten other parties. Selfhatred and self-disappointment to the extent of praying for my own death in a quiet, undramatic, fittingly solitary way. I must still care about my own survival because at least I find the means to put words to the emotions. I can find space to choose to feel another way and trick my mind away from dwelling on dark impulses. My empathy to the rest of you who may feel filled with a sense of weakness, lack of confidence, failure, anxiety and dread

I believe there are over 1,000 witnesses so this is a bit of a big trial. Keep in mind 17 fatalities plus 17 others shot. It takes a lot of man power to get things together, so the number of lawyers makes sense imo.

@Boba Liberal A FAIR trial! Was it FAIR that he murdered innocent people who had no way to protect themselves? He doesn’t deserve FAIR. Nothing FAIR with what he did. So no he doesn’t deserve a fair trial. Just my two cents.

@@Mana-br4ew Well for starters I’m actually very “bright”. Second, this has nothing to do with someone’s intelligence. I’m just stating facts. We all know he’s guilty. That’s not even a question. The problem is the resources that are being spent on this trial. It’s unnecessary for someone we know is guilty without question. Our judicial system is flawed for sure. Why are we wasting taxpayers money on this? Him and the judge one on one just like they did two hundred years ago is what’s needed in this situation. All I’m saying is that in some circumstances we need swift justice and not some charade that’s being dragged out. I’m sure the victims families don’t want to have to endure hours upon hours of hearing all this either. Simple really.

A similar theme that I continue to pick of from school protocol is that they don’t have a special alarm for not fire, or extreme emergencies. That way the students know the possible severity of the situation and can act accordingly to try and save his or her own life.. instead of always assuming that it is a routine fire drill and waiting scared like sitting ducks
@zombiegoddess1524
@zombiegoddess1524 2 жыл бұрын
Well I'm sure that is going to change in the future, these things take time. Please don't forget that these school shootings are still very much new to this generation and we are just getting new protocols and still put in place. plus every state and school district is different.

I noticed that it appears the "kids" (now adults of course) who are testifying seem to stay in the room afterwards in what appears to be support for the others who are coming into testify. Whether they want it or not, these kids and teachers and parents are bonded for life. It's certainly a bond that nobody is looking for or wants, but it's there none the less. I hope they're able to. continue to be a support and strength for each other over the years to come. I will say, the kids from this school seem to be quite intelligent and well spoken.
