Jaby is absolutely bang on. Whenever I'm pausing the video of any fight sequence, I'm able to observe that stunt guys and protagonist 'stop' too. The fight choreographers should make sure that the action sequences should continue smoothly irrespective of the fact that the viewer has paused the video or not.

And ‘Ivy’ and one of the stunt guys stop (might be not as experienced)…. The first stunt guy and Vijay seem more experienced and their choreography looks more natural.

Towards the end, when Lorena mentions the "action" sequences in old Bollywood films, I couldn't help but smile. I remember watching a few old Hindi films from the 60s and 70s when the fight sequences (typically between the main villain and the 'hero') were shown, there was usually a recorded voice going "Dishoom" (Indian 'Bop!' 'Pow!' and 'Smack!').

why the people think that its insulting to say its jackie chan or ong bak inspired 🤔. No one is telling Vidyut is not talented or less talented Its just that Jackie chan is a legend in the field of creative fight scenes and he did that first so there will always be a comparison with him be it Vidyut or anyone doing similar stuff.

Yeah. I mean Jackie chan inspired every single aspect of martial arts. I think Vidyut Jimwal himself would probably say that Jackie chan was an inspiration for him and this fight scene.

Hey we Respect JaKie Chan ...there is no way denying the respect he deserves..we have grown up on JaKie Chan movies. But Vidyut Jamwal has his own style ....his basis is Kalari not Shotokan or Chinese Kungfu. So comparing him to JaKie is not needed.

Fact check-He is inspired from kalaripayattu an art from Kerela India and when kalari reached in shaolin temple it is named as kungfu , so jackie chan is inspired by an very old art of India which vidyut is doing👍🏻

First of all Kerala was not there when kalari was created, its very ancient at that time one kingdom was ruling its south kingdom of India. Second throwing dumbells and weight on people is not kalari. Stop making fun of Kalari if you dont know anything. That fight was clearly inspired by Jackie Chan and they didn't say kalari was inspired by Jackie chan but the throwing stuff and rubber band sequence. So much insecurity and butthurt from you people yikes.

And if you learn some art and modify in your way doesn’t change the origin of it. He says vidyut is inspired by jackie. Not only kalari payatu but all Martial arts come from India. Shiva taught 64arts . Budha take it from India to china. It's so bad luck of Indians doesn't know about it. I'm Martial artist I know it.

You got that right yes kalaripayatu was the oldest martial arts in the world even kunfu was orginated from that it was taught to them by bodhidharman I think most of it is lost because it is not written anywhere it is only taught by words so when Britishers stoped from training martial arts most of it was lost it was orginated in south india kerala by parasi

The funny thing is when you always say it seems to be inspired by this person or that, but why can't it be original, the furniture martial arts is taught in military to how to use the environment as your weapon and in war you won't tell that this soldier was inspired by jackie Chan(I know there isn't any battles in which there are hand to hand fights but understand)

I think when medicine ball hits excercise ball n hits the stunt guy back is CG (I think ) cos of safety cos when u look at stunt guy it's looks like he took the hit but he just drops down with medicine ball may be the camera work or it fast face we cannot diffrentiate between CG n real when the guy throws medicine ball to vidyut may be CG or prop if they did it for real I mean kodus to stunt team n the actor ...and I learnt few new words from jaby today did not knew what the metal n rubber balls were were called now I know medicine ball n excercise ball😂 Sanak was awesome movie loved it

Yup Kung fu(Jackie Chan) and kalari payattu is very ancient. But full knowledge of kalari payattu is not given to anybody(only who is worth it in all aspects) . Only some defense etc. Are taught.
