Make extra because when I made this authentic Vietnamese braised pork ribs, my husband and kids left me nothing when I was outside working in the garden. They paired with white steam rice, but you can enjoy with bread or roll up like spring roll with some pickled vegetables also.

Easy and delicious recipe, scrumptious twist for baby back ribs!!! Replaced coconut water by some coconut cream and chicken broth and fish sauce by soy sauce, it was perfect, texture, flavor and the looks!!

Thanks. It was relatively faster than the normal 24-hour smoke ribs, and it was delicious.

I see Amazon has a few you can check out. I got mine from a local Asian grocery store a couple years ago and found that it's 3x more expensive than Amazon.

@@fishsaucemama Thanks! I made this today and it was delicious. Is this the same as the Vietnamese caramelized braised pork and hard boiled eggs - Thit Kho Tau? The sauce tastes the same to me.

That's awesome! It's very similar, yes. The one you're thinking about with eggs the sauce isn't this gooey. It's a bit liquidity than this.

@@fishsaucemama Yep my mom makes it all the time. Do you have any Vietnamese beef or chicken recipes? I just made Bò lúc lắc and that was really good too. I’m always looking for different ways to marinate meats to eat with rice.
