View through my Trijicon TA31-H ACOG 4x32. Worth every penny! Uses no batteries. Fiber Optic for illumination during daylight & Nuclear Tritium power at night. Bullet drop compensator and lead / tail marks. Sorry for the poor / fuzzy quality. It is very hard to film, but I assure you it is crystal clear in person. I searched all of KZfaq for a video looking through this model scope and could not find one. Something I wanted to see before dishing out $1200.00 for an optic. So I hope this helps some others out.

Wish more people would do this. Love seeing the difference between reticles and when it's shown I can make a better judgment on what I want to get. Thanks brother good video. Was always curious why these were so expensive. Cost as much as my rifle lol

thats just due to the camera iris. I can assure you these combat scopes are as good as they come in person. Sometimes the reticle gets a bit too bright and I would put a little piece of duct tape over the fiber optic, works just fine then.

For what it's worth, I've been using a knock off ACOG w/ Red Dot Docter Sight on top of it just as you describe : In medium to close range engagements the dot is quick and easy to find in a split second and has allowed me to get the job done quickly even in the heat of the moment. So yea, it's not the greatest thing, but it DEFINITELY works nice as a medium/close range quick target acquisition system... pulling the gun to firing position, and finding sight picture with red dot works perfect

The Clear Acrylic tube at the top house's the Red Fiber Optic cable that gathers light to power the Red Dot in the Daytime or when Natural light is present. At night or when no natural light is present the Optic or Red Dot is illuminated and powered by Nuclear Tritium. It uses no Batteries. Nothing to break..

Yes worth the money. Sight is much clearer and red dot is much brighter in person. They don't record well on video for some reason.

Mr MrFack I would still get the horseshoe. The Horseshoe has three illuminated markers for elevation. The top of the Horseshoe, the little dot in the center of the horseshoe and the bottom of the horseshoe. This way you can make consistent changes in your elevation, depending on how far or close your target is by using one of these three markers for your point of impact. With the Chevron you only get one. The top point of the Chevron. There are also lead markers with the horseshoe, very beneficial for tracking a moving coyote or target.

Thank you for this video, I have a question. I have seen a model of the acog that has the reflex sight mounted on top of the acog. could i find a acog with the reticle you have that has the reflex sight mounted on top of it?

This isnt the fakecog? Jw because I just inherited some amazing rifles pistols other optics and the only fake was the acog 4x. Put it on my ar works great! Downfalls are obviously the eye relief just like on the real ones I used in the military and no tritium...The fiber optic works just as good as the real ones. Anyways I noticed on yours it has no turret cap wires making me think that it is the same as mine and hey so be it! Works great.

I have not seen this model ACOG with the reflex sight mounted on top. In my opinion the small reflex or red dot sight mounted on top is a waste of money. Yes it works for aiming in very close quarters up to 25 yards. But when a person or threat can cover 21 feet of ground in 1 second. You won't have time to line your eye up to that tiny Red Dot / Reflex sight.

And? Optics are one of the most important parts of a weapon system, and the most technologically advanced. A 950$ DPMS build will put holes .7 MOA out of the box, OFF THE SHOULDER, with good ammo. Why spend more on the rifle when any more only gives tradeoffs, rather than benefits? The difference between cheap and quality glass is remarkable, like looking through oil vs being closer. Rule of thumb for any serious long distance shooter is that the scope costs at least as much as the gun.

The Fiber Optic powers the Red Dot in the Daytime or when Natural light is present. I took this video in the shade so there wasn't much natural light, so that why the red dot seems dim. At night the Optic is powered by Nuclear Tritium. Uses no Batteries ever. Nothing to break..

Cool, so don't complain when people keep buying Chinese clones that are half-ass decent, which will only get better. For what most people do, $1,000+ optics are overkill.
