are you kidding these are the cheapest possible videos they can make one guy no real editing needed less than a hour or so of time invested and no other costs these things should be free the advertising on KZfaq will more than pay for this vs a long build video

You are right. I shouldn't have to pay for these types of videos although I really like them. However, i think they want to keep the INFORMATION in the videos exclusive. So, for instance, you aren't paying for the actual video you are paying to learn about the cool cars that you saw in episodes of Dirt Everyday or cool cars that Fred has. I feel like that is what they are doing with roadkill extra. Everyone wants to learn more about the project cars and the hosts personal cars so they lock that info behind a pay barrier.

fred what happend to the land rover ford ranger thing? last time you bend the chassie. Is it still there and is it repeared? my favorite truck (jeep) is a 1978 Ford bronco 4x4 that has a maroon collor and a black camper shell.

To answer that Greek guy from Boulder. Check out Trail Damage. There are a lot of trails (especially Colorado trails) on there and a great description of the trail, maps, ratings, and photos.

BAHAHAHA Buddy takes an 80s body and migrates it on a modern IFS chassis, asks for lift kit advice and gets told to hack it up and turn it back into a live axle front end.

The cost would probably be astronomical, but the Prius did turn on dim bulb. How about sourcing two electric motors, and outfitting something like a CJ? The more interesting choice (to me) would be an IH Scout of 60's vintage as the base vehicle. I guess you can find a IH Scout out there that hasn't turned into dust like they have in Keystone State?

Hello I'm in southern Cali. I've asked before if you knew where I could find fabtech FTS21025BK 7inch lift kit for a 1994 chevy Silverado 1500. Can't find one online. PLEASE HELP! I have the first one kit that came out and it rides like a gocart. Love your show, respect your knowledge & intelligence. Love my old truck just want a softer ride. Please help me. Hey guys! I like the Q & A episodes. Don't discourage Fred. I know people who would try to convert their Prius into something else. Wouldn't you? I had a 3 cylinder Suzuki Swift with a manual and that thing got better gas mileage than a Prius. The thing was a dessert rat. It had a old fashioned carburetor too. What a kick it would have been as a 4 X 4. (with a major loss of power) I would love to drive Tube Sock with the Cummins. As an experimental Jeep it is probably is not for sale. Cummins Steve would be sad to see it go.

Whatever you do, remember, if you go over 20mm, do not bolt directly to the bed. I won't repeat that mistake twice.

That is correct. I wonder how some ppl actually get a license anyway. You can also get a CDL (commercial truck) license if you take the test in an automatic transmission big rig with air brake system.

Peter Groenink I daily drive a manual ford ranger I could see why people don't want to. They rather be on the phone or playing with the radio or etc. it's always fun to see the fear in people's eyes as the truck rolls back a little when I'm letting off the clutch. Not fun when they are on your tailgate though.

Ron, EU too and I have sort of the opposite problem. Can't really figure automatics, at least not "without thinking about it". Do I hold the brake when its standing still, where do I put the left foot, slight kneejerk reaction when its changing gear on its own and do I need to engage the brake or not when hitting reverse. Its like I feel ... Uncomfortable without a clutch and the control over what the car is doing. The deterant for theft is not even a joke. Sadly I saw a story where an older man had his car attempted robbed by two armed punks who couldn't get it move, cause manual, so they got frustrated and shot the older man and ran off :(
