Awesome video! I love the drawings and the Geocities-style GIFs you chose :P

The GIFs are actually taken from the GIFcities project on the Internet Archive! Genuine content from the year 1998 (or near enough). ;)

Interesting video, Mr. Yack! I wasn't even aware that this was a thing that ever happened! In fact, I didn't even remember this show until you started showing how it worked and I was like "oh yeah! That was quite enjoyable back then" :D I also thought when you were talking about contestants who were too good, you were talking about the one who basically figured out how to cheat The Price Is Right (think it was that) - yeah, I know it says 100% Quiz in the title but I didn't remember that being a show til now :P If I may ask: did you change your mic or how you speak at some point? As I watch older videos from you, you sound totally different when you speak in those vs in your more recent vids :P Thanks for popping along to my most recent video, I did make another vid (update) 8 months back explaining my 8 year long absence if you fancy watching that :P Just seemed like nearly no-one I used to speak to all that time ago noticed it due to YT changes or unsubbing probably lol. Hope you've been well in general and hope you have a cracking 2024! :D

Hey man, good to hear from you again! I watched that comeback video you mentioned and it's excellent that you're doing well. I kinda feel bad for falling out of touch as well, ya know? Right, the audio... it seems to be different from video to video because of the gaps in between me 'coming back'! They're all recorded with different mics. This is the first time I've used this one and I'm still trying to optimise it. 🤣 Yeah, I made this video because nobody else has up to now, plus I used to like 100% in the '90s. I guess all the other 'scandals' have been covered on YT at this point. I wonder if you're thinking of the dude from 'Press Your Luck' (first clip in the video)? Here's to a wonderful 2024! 🥂

@@HarryYack oh, the irony of replying to an almost 2 week old comment talking about falling out of touch with people 😳 - sorry about that, one of those "I'll do it later" instances, then I forgot. Anyway, I was gonna say it's understandable, times change and people move on...I never really was the pillar of the retro gaming community back when I was remotely regular on YT (which I wasn't as you know lol) - and many of those people seem to have moved on as the site has grown/changed its approach over the years. I'm hopeful to have an update in the near(ish) future that might help with the keeping in touch point, although that will entirely depend on whether or not you use a particular platform, all will be revealed SOON(TM) as is my brand nowadays apparently 🤪 Ah, I see re: mics, I wasn't sure if you were putting on a telephone voice or not lol, will be good once it's optimised I'm sure, I've certainly sounded different due to mics before as well. And yeah, maybe re: contestant, I honestly don't remember. Same to you dude

Hi, I’m trying to find 2 episodes of games world that I was on. Could you help me? It was probably 1993. Bob mills was on the show and he gave me an eliminator jacket which I still have. Thanks

That's a most excellent question. I've just been through and updated my Games World playlist (first time in ages, haha) but I didn't manage to find you tonight. However, people are uploading the lost episodes every now and again so the chances are good that you will appear, if you aren't already in that playlist! 😀
