Save the chairs-they can be recovered. Save the mirror- it can be cleaned. Save the fern stand, it is really nice. Save the dresser - it can be used for a bath vanity. Save the top of the wooden clothes cabinet - it can be used for a bed crown. the glasses can go! lol

There's some really cool stuff you pulled out of those rooms. Save anything that looks old and just store it. I don't know how many restoration vids I watch where missing important pieces are found in attics, basements, and outbuildings. That cart is awesome. I bet you could sell some.of that "junk". The attic looks very nice all cleaned up!

Exactly, I'd love to do the 'owning a property in the country thing' but buying a property is just a fraction of the cost involved, starting from scratch everything needs buying from basic stuff like hand tools, hose pipes, wheelbarrows etc through to power tools and building materials, yes people can do the rickety muddy homestead thing with fences made from old pallets but if you want the Wood Mizer, Skidsteer with attachments & small excavator then chuck in another £100k.

Congratulations in advance for what will be an amazing restoration. You have clearly given a lot of thought to your vision for the property and the artist sketches of your plans make it much easier for us viewers to understand. I am amazed at how many commenters ask questions which are explicitly answered within your videos or have already been asked and answered multiple times in the comments section. I also don't understand why you should have to 'defend' your plans. You are far, far more patient than me. Good luck!!

What a gorgeous villa! Really looking forward to seeing your progress (and living vicariously through your project). I am curious how you plan to dispose of all of the accumulated junk, especially in the chicken coop. Do you have to hire someone? You must both sleep well at night. And glad to know it wasn’t squirrels. Those little buggers are cute little destroyers. LOL (I know this from personal experience). I watched this video after the one with chicken coop being removed. I have watched a few other similar channels on You Tube regarding restoration in Italy and have been made aware of the strict laws and notoriously slow pace that some work at regarding remodeling in Italy. Did you encounter any challenges or obstacles with the governing authorities or contractors that you had to overcome? I wish I could come help you. I am not afraid of hard physical labor even if I am watching this while lying in bed! P.S. I like your wry sense of humor. God bless you both as you continue on your journey.
