Man, the childlike wonder and interest Mansoor and Naveed display when watching movies that were a huge staple of my life is just… so beautiful. Especially at a time where there’s so much negativity and sadness in the world… your reactions brighten my mood all the time. I really wish I could watch these movies for the first time. Y’all are so great. I hope to keep up with your great reactions for a long, long time!

I feel that way too. I enjoy watching through their eyes. They let the story unfold ~ without over-analyzing every detail, asking a million questions, speaking every thought out loud or talking to the viewers to gain comments, likes, subscribers and donations, like a lot of Reactors have a tendency to do. A brief comment here and there is perfectly fine because we can see that they are both paying attention to the story itself. The common courtesy and humble respectfulness that they show is refreshing and we need more Reactors like them.

Johnny Depp's portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow is unique and brilliant! You are right, the film would not be outstanding without him in it, although the other actors play their parts well too. Always love watching you two, my absolute favourite reactors in the whole of KZfaq ... and I have watched MANY others! 🤩

I think Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush are way better than the others, Geoffrey Rush has nothing to prove since a very long time and Jack Sparrow is Johnny Depp. Keira Knigthley was 17 at that time and it shows, she alright but she's not yet the great actress she will be later and Orlando Bloom is not as good as he's very good looking (my opinion sorry).

POTC holds a special place in my heart. Fun Fact, The Interceptor was the only real ship used in the whole franchise, all other ships were props or parts of a set. The real ship is named "Lady Washington" and you can book a trip on her in Washington State, I've seen her but haven't gone on yet.

The actor who plays Will Turner is the same who played Legolas in Lord of the Rings. Johnny Depp based the character of Captain Jack on the rock and roll musician Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.

As a note, the director wanted Jack Sparrow played as a rough, tough pirate, but Johnny insisted the almost 'gay' persona was more appropriate. From what was said, there was quite a fight about it, but thankfully, Johnny got his way.*

I would recommend more Johnny Depp movies! Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow, etc.

Indeed I still cannot believe that the pair still haven't watched Edward Scissorhands yet(?) I've been suggesting that for the past month! At least they've watched other favourites. I would avoid Sleepy Hollow tho, decent but too dark graphic horror and not really that beneficial for them to understand that complicated plot!

@@jetster785 Totally disagree! Naveed and Mansoor are extremely intelligent, savy and sophisticated gentlemen who won't have any issues following complicated plots. And as for dark horror? Pffft, these 2 have already watched The Exorcist, Seven, The Conjuring, The Thing, Alien, and many other gorey and scary movies. Pretty sure they can handle Sleepy Hollow! 😄

@@b00jen81Nope you've misunderstood there. I meant the film storyline was too strange to understand for viewers let alone for non Westerners! Besides before I've posted that above, I was perfectly aware of Se7en and the Thing (was more silly than scary)! I don't think they enjoyed the Exorcist though! Besides none of these previous films have that extreme graphic violence of head lopping off and child murders so I disagree with that for comparisons!

*This wouldn't load for me shortly after you posted, so back now. Johnny Depp IS Jack Sparrow...he lives the role and carries the outfit when on tour or on set, in case a child needs cheering up in hospital...to this day. You need to see all in the series, Naveed and Mansoor.*

Hey guys, I have a series for you guys to react to: Netflix's "Love, Death and Robots" is a series full of animated episodes. None of them are linked but they are CGI. Another Sci-Fi movie that is never talked about but I love is: the Sci-Fi Thriller "Gattaca". Another movie I would recommend that is Sci-fi with action and Arnold Schwarzenegger is the 1990s "Total Recall". Another movie couple of movies that are amazing action Thrillers are Al Pacino's "Scarface" and Robert De Niro and Al Pacino's movie "Heat". Another comedy movie that I would recommend is the comedy "Death Becomes Her" and since Christmas is coming the two "Home Alone" movies.

always live to see your reaction on much loved movies, to see you watch them for the first time, was the same as i had watched them for the first time, maybe if it's not being rude..instead of watching part 1 then later part 2 if you watch all the franchise through out the week "and the same with, the rocky,matrix, jurrasic park and so on. just a thought 🙂

I agree. I think film and plot details are more enjoyable when the previous parts are fresh. Especially series with lots of characters, like Pirates of the Caribbean.

@@ClaudiaX2my thoughts exactly, they generally love watching these movies, but it would be better for them to watch all the franchise in the one week, as well as the rest of the franchise from their previous viewing for example they watch rocky 1 then that was it..why not 2,3,4,5 then bolola,and greed 1,2,3 then perhaps rocky 4 director cut..then they will fuly catch up on them same with rambo..and so on.

I think this would still have been a good movie without Depp's performance, but I don't think it would have become a franchise spawning juggernaut of a movie without him. He stole the show so hard, and created this character that people loved. I noticed that they did seem to recognize Orlando Bloom, but not sure if they picked up that he was Legolas or not. I think this franchise was meant to launch Orlando Bloom to super stardom, but instead it just kinda made Deep an even bigger star than he already was.

Not so fiction. Bawarij were Sindhi pirates and they were from Pakistan, they used to raid Arab trade ships. Maybe there was a Pakistani Sparrow?

Naveed and Mansoor are perfect commentators. They have passion and dont judge. Even these chaps did realise that Johnny Depp is the perfect match for that role as Jack Sparrow but Disney doesnt know to understand that. They lost a great actor because of their stupidness and wokeness.

Great to have you back Naveed! Both of you drink lots of clean water and eat whatever is local to you that has Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc. It will help your body get better faster and keep you from getting sick. I love how much you guys enjoyed the movie. The kid in all of us wishes we could be a pirate lol. They guy who looked familiar to you was the Elf Legolas in Lord of the Rings. 🧝🏻‍♂️
