Godspeed was one of the worst main villains. If you go from worst to least worst main villains from seasons 6, 7, 8, and 9 . Earth-4125 Ryan Wilder/Red Death . Eva McCulloch/Mirror Monarch . Speed Force Nora . August Heart/Godspeed . Eddie Thawne/Cobalt Blue . The Negative Forces

Season nine was trash the writing in this one was garbage and they would have followed the comic and had better writers. It would’ve been good. All these female villains are garbage. In red death was trash making a female doesn’t make it better.

He didn't but once he came back, he had the Reverse-Flash's lightning bolt insignia. And, by the time Hunter Zolomon became Zoom, Eobard Thawne had already switched his emblem. Moreover, Zolomon took Thawne's nickname "Professor Zoom", albeit without "Professor" and has the exact same Reverse-Flash' suit, with black lenses.

@@KamiKazeD bro he is his season 2 version therefore meaning he’s also the same one from season 5 also he never really got used to real speed that’s why he lost so easily in season 2 bc up until that point the velocity 9 was what made him faster than Barry taking Barry’s speed meant he was gonna get slower but still fast enough to do what he did but in season 9 he had the negative speed force and everyone except thawne didn’t know how it worked zoom probably thought the lightning wouldn’t hit him bc he saw how powerful Eddie was thawne was much weaker this time bc he was caught off guard by Allegra savitars reason is probably that since he’s a past future Barry’s time remnant up at that point in s3 we didn’t know what the negative speed force was until s5 Godspeed well I mean he’s a little dumb and I think the reason he lost was bc of his ego like zoom he thought he was invincible against cecil but ultimately he was pretty vulnerable bc his clone trick always slows him down but I guess we could come to the conclusion that this was just bad writing I was just trying to make sense of this in a story perspective

He did, after he shot himself his body got sucked into the wormhole that was in the sky at the end of Season 1, but somehow survive and ended up in a pararel universe, he came back to take revenge against the flash, because he found out that his death meant nothing. Reverse Flash still fighting the good fight, and Barry and Iris are married and in the future have 2 kids, and Eddie feels that Barry stole his life.

The Negative Speedforce somehow ressurected him in the future, where he got an entire new life and identity. However, the Negative Speedforce also carved his path for villany, as he was slowly regaining his memories and discovering the aftermath of his sacrifice, which was meaningless in his eyes, since the Reverse Flash wasn't erased. Those realizations were being too much on him and he began having an existencial crisis, and the Negative Speedforce took advantage of it to slowly manipulate Eddie and make him embrace his darkest desires, just like it did with Eobard and was doing with Nora West-Allen in Season 5.

this is from the finale and you would think Barry would fight them right? nah about 5 minutes after this clip ends all of them get bodied by non speedsters except Savitar who got bodied 40 seconds into the fight

@@Azeral7 I disagree. In the comics, I could understand why he wanted to be Godspeed. I mean, any civilian who suddenly got super speed and discover versatile ways of using it would claim to be "judge, jury and executioner". As for August, his comic's counterpart, it was well done since his brother's murder still not solved was the reason August became Godspeed in the first place..unlike there where it was rendered trivial. I wished this Godspeed would actually be a mentor toward both Nora and Bart since they're all in scientific field. But especially Bart due to befriending him (akin to August and Barry in the comics) and asking both Nora and Bart to help them about Jorge's death, which would end up with them declining his request and send August onto the path of becoming Godspeed (akin to what Hunter Zolomon did with Wally West in the comics).

The problem was the guy who played Wally and the guy who played Bart were not able to be in the episode. Personally I think the writers should have postponed the series finale until they could get those 2 actors plus the guy who played Cisco Ramone. And Jay Garrick should have been in the fight as well. That way it would have been an actual speedster fight like it should have been, with Cisco, Kione and the others helping a little in the background.

And the last scene of the whole series didn't have Cecile or Joe. The last scene of the Flash was Barry running after using his lightning to create more speedsters.

The season was great just badly plotted. If you moved cobalt blue origin to the beginning. Make him want to start a Rogue army. Oh now all the standalone episodes are those villains trying to impress Eddie. Then have the rogue battle. Eddie loses then decides to bring in the speedsters to increase tension
