I went with the Fuji 23mm before the Viltrox 27 came out so I haven't used it yet. Haven't seen anything but amazing reviews though!

I have the Viltrox 27mm and it is crazy sharp. No lens faults or any other problems. Will get the 75mm also. Viltrox must expand their Pro series line up right now.

Thanks for the review! Im considering getting it because I tend shoot at 70mm with my Tamron 17-70mm more often than not and I'm loving this focal distance One thing I noticed with your pictures is that there is a lot of vignetting - I suppose it is voluntary?

Yeah, all of these photos were edited in post so any vignetting was added by me. Sorry for the late response!

Any idea on how the af works with fast approaching subjects (ie a dog running towards you)

I wasn't able to test fast moving objects. During this shoot, I had her walk towards me multiple times and it did pretty well keeping up with her movements, especially with such a razor thin line of focus!
