@MunachiChiagozie blah blah blah. Best coach I ever had spoke like this. He played in the NBA at the highest level for over a decade and was a starter his entire career. We didn't have a single great player and he coached further than any team in our schools history. Coaches like this always have your back when you need them. These luke warm coaches that show no emotions dump you at the first sight of trouble. I'd rather have this coach every single time.

Respect for actually getting this out. Coaches rarely want locker room talk out in public but stuff like this needs to be seen. Coaches are passionate, sometimes more than the players. Brutal honesty is what some players need.

Tbh as a kid age like 7-13 our teams manager always spoke to us like this if we lost. It doesn’t upset you it gets you fired up and makes you dig deep. Idk why they don’t ever show this when it’s grown men.

As a bayern fan Im very happy that a guy like this is now becoming our coach. Players like Sane need this kind of speach since his attitude is also very bad, not fighting for the ball after losing it, arrogance against other players, egoistic and always mad when he gets subbed aswell as not controlling his temperament when players provocate him. Only one example of a player here that especially catched my eye with his bad attitude. Im really looking forward to the future with Kompany.

He even lashes out against other trainers like Conte or he has beef with his bosses. He got fired in Dortmund and Paris because he lashed out against the club owners. Not all players can handle criticism. Great managers are aware of that, and give those types of players confidence in other ways - the old arm around the shoulder is one example, as it was called back in the day.

It´s really hard to be the captain of the team. Because all these lads are your friends and somethimes family. And who like to scream at their family. Legend Kompany clearly said from the beginning that the players shouldnt misunderstand him because he has another side that they probably dont know.Thats was very polite and intelligent of him. I love the approach he adopted to talk to the players via a vis the current state of his club.This pure passion and the desperate need for a rapid change.. Repect you Legend Kompany. God bless you.
