One can only admire Kompany's temperament. He is potentially probably the best and technically most skilled defender of his generation. The man can deliver a pass over 70 meters exactly in your feet. And there is no one better in a situation when the defense is in a disadvantage in numbers. Only constant injuries prevented him off becoming the undisputed nr 1 defender in the world. But he always stayed positive and worked hard to come back again. I really hope Kompany will become worldchampion with Belgium in Russia. It would be a very well deserved award after all the hardship he's been trough when it comes to football.
