Alex Lemons I absolutely agree with you, yet I was talking about a case when you have to talk/work with this person - besides the natural curiosity all humans possess, knowing which gender a person belongs to might have different impacts on the way they talk and act with this person. I think most of the people in the video make it also quite obvious how they want to be known and accepted for what they are - how is this supposed to happen if no one else knows? At least to me it doesn't look like these new gender types are supposed to be a secret...of course there are other ways to identify a persons gender, then asking/guessing said pants content.

Valeriy's Kid i understand your thinking but how do you know these kids aren't trans? Are you them? Do you know their thoughts? Either way, trans people (even the "fake" ones) being dismissed by simply being a tomboy definitely harms them. Deciding who "real" trans people are and aren't still hurts trans people, basing that solely on your judgement isn't definitely not the best idea. I advise your friend to introduce themselves to other people if they have trouble with people talking to them, and also to introduce themselves with pronouns if they are comfortable with that.

I am a trans guy and despite finding this compilation mockery to be quite offensive, I must say, I rather hate the 'cisphobia.' Like, cisgender/heterosexual people are cool. So are gays, lesbians, bisexuals, anyone under the transgender umbrella and beyond. If someone that is cis/het is mean, it doesn't mean that all of them are bad, like, seriously? The times people say "What if the world was free of straights?" or "I hate straight people" I get annoyed because, ahem, NOT EVERY PERSON WHO IS CISGENDER OR HETEROSEXUAL IS A JERK. We won't get respected if we continue to disrespect the ones we want to respect us. Also, while I'm writing a massive rant (Sorry), NOT ALL NON-BINARY PEOPLE ARE LIKE "UWU UNICORNS!!1!", nor are they existing to be annoying or the 'new emo' (seriously? Come on, guys. That's just rude.) What about this? Hating on non-binary people because they aren't male or female and wear whatever the hell they want is the new stupid fad. Please. Just stop it already because this makes people feel even worse about themselves. Also, nobody that is trans is saying that changing their clothes or hair makes them a new gender- there's a mental aspect behind it. When I came out as a boy, I wasn't like "Okay, I'm gonna cut my hair and now I'm a boy!" No. I feel like an actual boy. If I wear a dress and didn't cut my hair, hey, guess what? I can still be a boy. Fun fact- pink and high heels were originally 'for men.' Yeah. So stop being jerks, okay? Please, please, please.

I don't understand why they get so offended when someone misgenders them. Like if you saw someone who looks like a girl, sounds like a girl, etc, would you not just assume they are a girl? Like the vast majority of people are cisgender so why are they so surprised? Do they not understand that if someone meets you for the first time, they might not be aware of this?
@snebr7 жыл бұрын
Also you can't be any gender just because you want to be that gender, if you are born with a penis you are biologically a male and you can't just be a male just because you WANT to. If I was born wanting to be an elephant and feeling like an elephant on the inside, that does not make me an elephant. As far as I'm concerned, unless you actually get surgery to change your gender, you are still a male.
@donglyknog6 жыл бұрын
snebr so many sjws always say "well dont assume. Period." But you cant shove that idea into everyone on earths brain. If i see a person who looks like a girl, im going to refer to them as she. Trans people need to realize not everyone is going to understand they're trans. If they want to become trans and want people go understand, they need to like actually put effort into their appearence. And if people continue to misgender them, then they're still doing something wrong physically wise.

Dont be harsh saying 'Im gender-fluid' no one asked. if you have a problem with being called 'he', just say 'I prefer they', 'its a personal preference', and 'please respect me as an individual and a human.'
