Nice refurbishing project. I think a clear glass would have looked better and offered a brighter light output. But maybe they didn't make that lantern replacement glass in a clear option... Thumbs Up!

Hi. I remember when warning road flares were nothing more than a ball shaped flare with a wick. It was fueled by kerosene. This is actually a step up from that. These manufactured between flares and battery powered lamps.

The hole in the glass is so you can light it without disassembling it.

Вы знаете мастер я тоже занимаюсь такими вещами но я бы не когда не покрасил лампу в синий белый цвета .меня эти цвета раздрожают .иногда я хромию лампу .в осовном предпочитаю.черный класический цвет о цвете лампы особо не заморачиваюсь все в последнюю очередь в зависимости от насроения ну так все красиво .молодец
