I love everything! You should check out the Japanese brand 'Laduree' they base their products off of Marie Antoinette! Also the Gucci cosmetics range with the floral pattern is fairly vintage looking. Theres also Santamarianovella who does perfumes in a vintage look! Plus, Jill Stuart Beauty (Another Japanese brand). x

Chey Sorelle The new Gucci lipsticks are named after many 1930’s Jean Harlow and Carole Lombard movies (“Hold Your Man,” “Love Before Breakfast”). Some of them are named after the characters Lombard and Harlow played in those films.

Hi love vanity tables , have y ever thought of doing a history on the vanity table ? From the Art Deco period forward the vanity table ruled , most to appreciate them now but I lv them pure luxury even those with less income had them at their price pt. I think y would enjoy . It’s pure Hollywood 👌🏾🌷👼🏿🙍🏽💕

In the UK we call a vanity, a dressing table.❤️ Soap and Glory do a really good Body Butter and a lot of very vintage colour lipsticks. 💄 I have two really lovely Anna Sui perfumes, which have beautiful bottles Dreams and Fairy Wishes.❤️

Pretty vulgar has the nicest packaging. I scour thrift stores for vintage toiletries . There is this animal adoption/thrift store by my house and all proceeds go to animal rescue. Once I scored someone's donated vintage perfume collection. Even though it was miniatures, it was fabulous. Love this video!

I still have a lot of very very VERY vintage Avon perfume bottles in all styles cuz my grandmother sold Avon for decades and decades! My grandad and her were right around the same age and he was born in 1920 if it tells you how long ago she sold Avon and how old the cologne bottles are. I have a cute skunk bottle, a cat with a fan in a flowing powder blue dress bottle, a set of eggs that are bottles each with a different floral painting on them, I have an owl with a gold head and clear glass body bottle... Pretty cool!

I love Soap&Glory scrubs, especially the breakfast scrub. It smells sooo good and leaves my skin so smooth and hydrating! :)

I have the Hard Candy Marilyn Rose Toner spray with hylaronic acid. I like it. I love the color of the Hard Candy tinted lip balm. Very pretty pink color. I just love the color pink so much.

Am i the only one that buts vintage makeup to finish the product then put my own favorite products in the packaging? For example i have a cute vintage moisturizer pot that has a pump. I finished that moisturizer and now inside it i put my cerave moisturizer xD

I’m so used to you slowly picking things up and moving about that at 11:59 when your hand came into the frame at lightening speed to grab the lipsticks it totally startled me.

That Dita Von Teese perfume bottle is absolutely exquisite. Could you use a small doll stand to support the bottle on your dressing table? Beautifully made and educational video as always, Laura. Xx

Dita sold those about five years ago. I adore and collect them all. Now, her fragrance collaboration is with the makers of a fragrance called Scandalwood. I don't have that one yet bc it's a bit pricey.

Soap and Glory products are amazing. I tried samples first, twice. The best body cream, called "The Rightous butter", strange name, but it's the best body cream I have ever used. It's amazing. And their shower gel, and summer exfoliating product are amazing also. Give it a try.

So cute! Do u remember the itty, bitty lipstick samples from Avon? They were in push up tubes but smaller than a pinky finger. I LOVED those when I was young and just learning to play with makeup!

This was so much fun and a great distraction. My favorite would have to be the very first Avon lipstick that you swatch that was kind of like a plum color. I miss wearing lipstick now that you have to have a mask on at work it doesn’t even make sense for me to wear lipstick. Just a little lip balm.😞💄

I miss wearing lipstick too because of having to wear a mask. What's the point of wearing it if it's going to be smeared all over the mask? I wonder if lipstick manufacturers are going to go bankrupt.

I almost bought the hard candy Marilyn setting powder. Looks similar to the body powder u have. It was on sale at walmart. I didn't get it because I knew that her face would wear off really quick being used and stored all the time... That and I already have setting powder I like lol. I wish I could afford besame products cuz i need the cake eyeliner. What brand had the cat in the powder compact?? I don't like having cats as pets but they look cool pressed into a powder cake!!! My favorite thing you swatched side from the light colored besame eyeshadows was the tinted marilyn lip balm. They didn't have any left at Walmart.

@@CarolaTesla I don't want this to sound mean at all cuz i love her and I love this channel but I'm not a fan of the formula of her shadows from everything I've seen. I am really picky though and I'm obsessed with vivid bright colors. And right now there's about a dozen independent brands with the sickest formula that are on my list to buy before I try anything I'm not sure of. That green blue almost pastel shade I looked because my mother had a single shadow of that color but it was smooth and buttery and pigmented as anything and blendable. I wish I had my mom's makeup today. She used Cody airspun... I'd love to have saved her makeup bag before she passed away. I want the cake"mascara" from besame so I can use it as a liner and it's just the packaging... I know that I trust and love the brand Suva and they have a dual water activated liner with white on one side and black on the other side. It's cheaper and would last forever too. Kaleidos is for sure my next indy purchase. GORGEOUS!!! AND I ALSO LOVE ODENS EYE! gorgeous and the quality is unmatched. Check out the websites. 😊
