We are now middle aged men with careers and real cash. We yearn for nostalgia and the toys that were thrown away when we moved houses as kids. This has driven the crazy prices and high demand. But guess what? When our generation dies out so will be the demand and the will be plenty of supply around. This has happened with Beatles and Elvis memorabilia recently. They will eventually become worth less.

Agreed. I recently turned 50 and my kids are in college, there’s something soothing to the inner child in me to collect this figures again, although I’m sticking to a thrifty rule of around $10 a figure and ok with repro weapons. My mother gave away all our Star Wars stuff and I never knew about it. Maybe I’m repairing that - regardless, it’s fun getting these again and yes, one day they’ll probably be worth nothing but for the fond memories of us that owned them.

I couldn’t disagree more. Elvis died and the Beetles stopped making albums. Star Wars, like Disney, is being discovered by new generations every day. And for all of these different ages, the original vintage Kenner collection is a status symbol. I have a collection. My 22 year old son has a collection. My 14 year old nephew just started his collection. New fans will keep interest high. It’s the same reason vintage Disney merchandise never goes down in value.

I think the obsession with the "value" of a toy collection comes from the stigma that being an adult toy collector would bring back in the 1980s. If you didn't want to get ruthlessly mocked and bullied by 99% of the people you met, then you had to pretend that you were only buying these toys because they were "collector's items" that would be worth a lot of money someday. So I think that's just become a reflexive fallback for any collector from our generation when they are questioned about why they are still collecting toys. My nephews were born in the late 1990s through early 2000s and the ones who do collect show almost no real interest in the vintage Kenner toys. When they do collect physical toys, it's either Lego or the 6" Black Series figures. There might be a novelty value with the vintage figures, but nothing that's going to make a new collector want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a single 5POA 3.75" action figure from the 70s. So, yeah, treating these toys like a stock market investment is a bad idea, because a vast majority of the interest in vintage toy collecting will die out with Generation X.

Precisely how I feel about this. You collect what you like and if it’s worth something, great. Buying to sell down the road for big money seems utterly silly given the way people are drawn more and more to technology. Glad I grew up when I did.

True, it’s an ever decreasing circle with the mass of original fans still being alive..and the majority of advanced collectors are older and have disposable income to spend thousands on a single item along with a direct emotional connection to it.. none of which is a practical priority to a 20 year old in this day and age along with the world and everything in it being far more accessible than it once was back when the world was no bigger than your own neighbourhood.

I try and treat these pieces as museum collection items simply because I like having as close to mint toys as possible. Personally I’d rather look at a c9 than a c4 action figure. But that’s just me.

Vintage will always be just that....vintage. and if we're talking about "thoughts of the future"........it's vintage. This isn't juat for toys......the new gens will, and continue to explore the "vintage" aspect.....now.....and forever. It's not that hard

SOUND OFF, I was born 1964 in a dirt poor home proud of it ,taught me how to appreciate life and things I had or hav now. I was 13 when SW came out loved it then and still to this day. I enjoy my SW collection and every piece I add to it ,I’m 59 now and I’m very aware of my short coming and I’ve already accepted many yrs back that one day I’ll be stepping over that great after life threshold and what becomes of my collectibles don’t matter any more like they say u can’t take it with you ,so enjoy it while u can.

I was born in a poor family too and my reason of collecting is not the value is the joy it gives me with toys I would dream with when seeing in tv that my parents couldn’t afford buying me even they always did the best to get me some of the toys,so to me Star Wars is more of a personal emotional value of my growing up.

Tyler here. I think there’s still some time left. The 90’s kids who grew up with the prequels and were reinvigorated by the Special Editions are still very much into collecting and will be for decades to come. We will keep Star Wars alive. As for the 20teens kids… Time will tell.

Those dolls werent made to last forever. I personally own several of them who are already slowly starting to melt even though they are not visible or exposed to sunlight. Any time a kid gets to see my stuff they go like "star wars? What is that? Old people stuff, ugly toys, don't you have any Minecraft stuff?"

You are one of the rare collectors who enjoys the hobby for what it is, bringing some joy to yourself and sharing your passion. There are those who think they are better collectors and would like to dictate how the rest of us collect. Personally, I do not have very many vintage figures as finances don't allow me to buy as much as I would like to own but the figures I have bring me my own joy. I grew up in the 70s and would buy a figure for 2 dollars every other week. I enjoyed playing with the figures and playsets as a child. Favorite playsets were the Imperial Attack Base and Cantina. I bought that for five bucks after a Christmas clearance. Loved trying to fish the stormtroopers gun out of the dewbacks or a taun-taun. This is what made the old SW toys fun. Also enjoyed pushing the buttons to make the tie fighter panels fly off. So so cool. :) Always losing Yoda's cane or snake and Princess Leia's gun since it was so skinny. Remember picking my teeth with Darth's light saber. Sorry for the gross memory on that, but those light sabers from the 78 figures made great tooth picks. Oh yeah, the memories. I had quite a collection but around 20 years ago, decided to get rid of some of that collection. I do have some regrets, but not on a value level, more of how it was like leaving part of my childhood go. Therefore I have started a new collection and maybe buy a figure or two per month pending if in my budget. I buy some now and leave them in the package. Not to make money or hoping to sell them, just cool to look at and relive some memories. I have them displayed in my hallway making it like a toy aisle. I only buy them at the second tier stores that sell them for like dirt cheap. Three to four bucks, I will say is fair in today's value. :) I love your explanation on these toys. Had to subscribe. So true on what you say about a you and me thing when you talk about Kenner. I hate to say it too for I don't see them going up in value like the ones from 1978. Toys now cost like 16 for a figure. lol, I could not imagine a toy figure being 16 in 1978. Thank you for making this video. Nice to see others that have a collection for the enjoyment of the collection.

@@GQJedi Thank you for the welcome and I am glad I found your channel. I think if I take the collecting journey nice and slow will by my key. As I look at items, there are so many more items today than there were when I was a kid. I think too with mass production being easier and online with bargain stores may be a reason I see so much in circulation. I have thought about a few playsets and will say I do like the thought that some playsets give figures in them. I don't remember them doing this in the 70s or 80s. Again, you have amazing content. I look forward to viewing more of your videos and what you bring in the upcoming weeks.

Amen my friend! I could not have said it better myself! My father was a kid in the1940's and his passion was toy trains. His favorites were made by a company called " Mike's train house" or MTH. He passed away in 2019 and I inherited his train collection. I called hobby shops all across the country to see if anyone was interested in buying the collection. Every response I got was "Sorry, but we can't even sell the stuff we have because all the train collectors have everything they want and there are no new young train collectors". I know for a fact that my father paid about $50,000 out- of pocket for his collection. I ended up having to auction off the collection myself. I made $5000.00. That's all. And I'm lucky to have made that. BTW, MTH went out of business and closed their doors forever in 2020. Mark my words, LIONEL will be doing the same thing pretty soon. So everything you've said about collectors growing old and dieing off with no one to follow them, is totally true! Some day our stuff will be worthless. One man's treasure is another man's trash!

My condolences to you. Sorry to hear about your father. Toys are relevant as long as their is nostalgia in the hearts of collectors. If not, those toys will slip away and be forgotten. Some argue with me on this point and I of course could be wrong. But it seems unlikely. Treasure and enjoy them while you can.

Every bubble will burst. Enjoy your stuff while it is yours. No one will (probably) enjoy it more than you, so you are fulfilling that toy's ultimate purpose. Customize, play, whatever. When viewed as an investment, nobody wants to be the last guy buying. I remember hearing about pristine collections of model trains going for pennies on the dollar because the generation that cared about such things is passing away. I do believe that Star Wars is culturally significant enough that prime examples will be kept in a toy museum for a long time, but the vast majority will eventually wind up as crap nobody wants, especially as the product degrades over time.

To circle allllll the way back around, my own interest in collecting physical things is waning. I scratch my collecting itch by watching videos such as yours, viewing highly-detailed books, and collecting DIGITALLY via Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. Even as a child of the mid-80s who grew up obsessed with SW, I can foresee the end of the hobby.

Also, still replying to myself LOL, but notice how as toys (etc.) get older, so do the buyers. As the buyers get older, their incomes go up. So, do the toys actually become more valuable over time, or do the prices rise due to (inflation and) the buying ability of those interested? Eventually, all that bottoms out.

I generally agree with you, but I think it will be a few decades from now, and then the demand will decline gradually but not drop off the cliff. There will always be some value to ones that are in good condition. I used to watch Antiques Roadshow a lot and there are plenty of antique toy collectors out there. Someday vintage will be antique. Anyway, I don't collect for investment, I collect for fun.

Babe Ruth stopped playing baseball almost 90 years ago. Yet, collectors still feverishly chase his memorabilia without having any nostalgic attachment. Star Wars, and these toys, aren’t simply a childhood memory, they’re a cultural icon, a piece of history, much like very old baseball cards. Maybe the pricing will diminish some on these toys, but I highly doubt the price will go to $0 simply because future generations didn’t grow up with them.

Golden age comics retain and continue to go up in price for the most part. And a lot of people involved making them have died much have the kids who have read them. Superman Batman Spiderman and Star Wars are brands much like Coke and McDonald's vintage might fluctuate here and there but the condition of the toys are becoming tougher to get. Even thou yes the market for this may shrink i think the demand will be healthy just like old certain baseball cards

Baseball is still played and comics are still printed, I still have most of my comics even though I'm 56 but I also stopped caring about star wars 15 years ago. The interest in star wars action figures is limited too many were made and the generation that cares is aging

This definitely needed to be said. I see it now. I often look through ebay and Facebook market place. And what i see if the posts piling up. People get bored and move on. This stuff is already loosing its value. People are tired of greedy scalpers. Im like you, i just collect for the fun. If i lost them tomorrow i wouldn't feel financially ruined. I totally understand and agree with you. I have been collecting the Kenner Star wars toys from 1977. To the end of the line. I spent many years in garage sales. Flea market and toy shows. I'm married and we had Han solo's and princess. Cake center piece. A light saber groom entrance and lots of Star wars deco. Yes it is for our enjoying life. My wife and I still use Star wars deco for partying and the holidays. Yup I see when we pass Away that all our collection will probably be put in the garbage. Maybe some of my kids will try to sell the Kenner toys maybe keep them as my memory who knows. Great video sad but true. May the force be with you

I agree with everything your saying.. Slowly but surely as our generation gets older & leaves this mortal coil or just moves on from all this, these toys will hit different. I'm in that demographic of age (born in 76') when all these wonderful toys & cartoons were coming out & I loved it but I too will eventually move on & hope the next person enjoys them for what they are. I don't collect for value (although I'm always cognecent of a certain items value) I treat them as a memory & art form.. I'm glad your calling it out for what it is: fun, nostalgia & in the moment. I think it's just the evolution of things. Of course some folks disagree with immensely. I guess only time will tell. But in the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy what I have for what it is. Exactly as you stated.

Very wise words. When our generation dies, the toys we grew up with will decrease in value. Adults that didn’t grow up with Kenner will not value them like we did. There’ll be no childhood connection.

I was 7 years old when Star Wars came out. I remember seeing them on display at Kmart and even though we did not have much money I managed to fill up my Darth Vader case by the time ROTJ came out.

I think you are very correct about the slow decline of material possessions. I guess some of this is a good thing as we probably need to make less stuff, but I actually feel sorry for young people that they never used their imagination to live adventures. The movies (Star Wars, Star Trek, etc) were great but it was the personal adventures that me and my sister + friends had creating our own memories....

Very on point today, GQ! I have seen similar discussions by Toy Polloi and others, regarding what folks will do with their stuff on their passing, as well as the possible degradation of the toy materials over time. This particular time will most likely be the peak for Kenner Star Wars before it goes down like a roller coaster. Once we're all gone, I wouldn't be surprised if the stuff went for 1985 clearance prices, if even that much. And for the most part, I must agree that modern kids in general will likely have little interest in Kenner Star Wars. Though with that said, when I picked up a Bespin Luke, R5-D4 and Stormtrooper at a flea market, my nephew did regard them with some curiosity, and asked me questions about them. I was only too happy to wax nostalgic for that moment! *^_^*

The kids now live in a throwaway society. My grandkids have broken and thrown away 10 more toys than I ever had. Although my kids and grandkids know how much I love them, they just don't have it in them to carry it on. My father was very nostalgic and shaired so much with me about the older toys and things that I, too, now appreciate even the toys of his time. I collect old bb guns too. The value goes up and down all the time, but as time goes by, the people that actually had them are dieing off. That part 9f the market dies off too. Leaving only the few of us to care fir them. What wants was valuable, now just a old toy. Little valuable. You are right. None of this is a long turm investment.

Great thoughts and comments. I’m okay with the value decreasing. I’m hoping the prices come down so I can finish off the entire collection. I’ve already spent thousands in the past four months on these toys, and no regrets. I’ll just make sure it’s outlined in my will that they bury me with my collection because it brought me joy.

There only valuable as long as there is a market for them. I suspect in another 20 years or so when all the original Star Wars fans are no longer interested in them and all the speculators have flooded the market trying to off load them their values going to drop through the floor. FYI, Analog Toys actually did a good video highlighting this.

I don’t think the bottom is going to ever fall out of the vintage market but it will have to self rationalise as it becomes a decreasing pool of original fans over the next few decades. Right now we’re in peak evolution… a high number of people with direct emotional connection to the OT in their 40’s-50’s-60’s.. now in a position to have the disposable income required to keep the market afloat. Also think because of the availability of so much high quality product now such as The Vintage Collection etc that many will move onto becoming vintage era collectors after a few years of collecting, it’ll become a smaller market as times goes by which may be a good thing if the reduced prices of vintage product places it in the hands of those that will truly appreciate and preserve it.

I was born in late 1968, so I was a 9 year old when SW changed the world. I had a lot of the toys when I was a kid but my family was middle class and could only afford so much. I started buying them again about 10 years ago. I can’t tell you how many came from a child selling their deceased parent’s collection. I see them as an emotional investment and the joy they bring me (and my kids) seeing them again. I have a large Fett that’s 99% complete. Have you seen the price of Wookiee braids these days???? Things have gotten crazy but the reality is that their value will decrease as our generation dies out.

It’s interesting!! Value is literally determined by eBay sold lists and MOST IMPORTANTLY, collectors value. I can pay $10 for a figure and it’s only worth that amount, but to me it’s priceless. I collect for a reason. My collection is priceless to me and that’s all that counts.

This is a beautiful video. Speaking as someone trying to collect a full set of these right now despite the price ... The value of them is almost certainly going to plumit. I'm collecting because I enjoy them, they bring back great memories. But when we are old or when we die, they are the next china plates and train sets. They won't be worth anything to anyone but us. We need to enjoy it while we can, like all things in life. And that's ok with me.

"Action figure" toys will fade out like so many others--they stop being mass produced/purchased and become a niche collector's hobby. Like baseball cards, comic books, and model trains. There will always be collectors for all sorts of things. People will collect things even though they didn't live in the era for example original gi joes, old baseball cards, old movie posters, stuff created before many of our lifetimes still have great value. Value is transgenerational, just because one didn't live the exact moment in time when it was made doesn't mean the value will disappear.

I refuse to collect for value. I can temper getting these as a kid, at the store. The modern/current figures are already going for more than the true vintage figures. I find crazy that people pay $150+ for a plastic Leia blaster. I collect to remember my childhood, not to resell.

That’s why I don’t mind repro’s or customs that other SW collectors get so upset about hell it’s as if like their going to live forever RIGHT. I did at first but slowly I realized that it was a form of preservation even if it is a knock off. We buy knock offs and customs because it gives us the collector pleasure. Completely agree with GQ, I'l nearly 50 now, and one of the younger original fans. I have seen lots of collectors markets colapse, such as Tonker cars, train sets, ceramics etc. These things are only hold value whilst there are people slive still interested. I am looking forward to getting hold of a Blue Snaggletooth just to be able to hold one, but it won't be the end of my world if I don't. My son is 9 and plays with vintage Transforners, but only about once a month. The rest of the time he is on his tablet like his friends.

I agree. At some point they will lose value. I myself can't afford to by old Kenner so I rely on the retro collection or very occasionally a kennerfigure would come up that I can afford. Collecting brings back so many memories from when I was a kid. If you put a kenner/palitoy stormtrooper figure in front of a kid these days he wouldn't know what to do with it. He be looking for the button to switch it on.

GQ. I agree. Star wars was magic then. Imagination was instilled in us as children. The likeness of the actors was not accurate but Imagination took care of that 4 us. And yes i collect 4 memories n joy alone. I dont think the value is there any more especially they remade some of these again. Why because these figures are magic at least 2 us. Somebody may have touched on this already, but what are the values of 60s Joes? 12 inch. I think they are still very high. I think Star Wars carder figures will stay high in value because 1. They are the original figures and 2. Star Wars will remain very popular for a very long time. I mean after we are nearly 50 years since the first movie was released. I collect because I grew up with the originals, not because I want to make a living or screw someone else.

Maybe. Whatever your opinion of Hasbro, the popularity of the Retro Collection might say otherwise. Plenty of those collectors were born well after Kenner bit the dust. Entropy will take the toys, but maybe the interest won't go so quietly into that good night.

The tactile age, the age of imagination has been gone for nearly 3 decades. An age of the big box toy store, it was dying 3 decades ago, all the good ips began dying once the 90s hit, all the good things. I think the Xers are the last large collecting generation for the period of our nostalgia. We have a very small minority of the current 3 younger generations we have instilled the same interest in the old things. It's all 6 inch fully 30+ to 60+ points of articulation now. Kids look at 3 quarters and shrug, they probably look at the old 12 inch and laugh. If a property cannot retain relevance it will fade, even the generation of its nostalgia fades away. The loss of available product over time will lead to rarity and I think that will balance out value with very niche collectors. Of course in 10 years we could reach self-cleaning 3D multi plastic/resin printers and we just as easily say make me a mug as we can to A.I. print me Wave one of the '77 SW 3 quarter scale releases, and in an evening you have snapped and screwed together an indistinguishable army of troops. I think we have a good 20 to 40 years left to enjoy it, and maybe even feel joy leaving it in the hands of another who will get to enjoy it for decades more. After that I wouldn't worry, that's the problem of the hands of whom I leave them in.

I only use the value of things to justify my collecting to non-collectors. I mostly collect comics, and I’ll never sell. I’ve thought of this before, when all the old guys die, their comics are going to flood the market, and I imagine prices will crash. I just wish I could outlive them all so I could get some great comics cheap! I collect for love and fun.

The value will remain high for vintage Star Wars. People keep equating vintage Star Wars with model trains from the 50’s or Beetles albums or things that were popular for a brief time. Star Wars has been popular in waves across generations. My generation is into vintage Star Wars because it is what we played with as kids. My son’s generation, now in their early 20’s, grew up with the Prequels and Clone Wars. They collect vintage Star Wars as a status symbol. It is like how new Disney fans still collect Disney memorabilia from the 1920’s and up. Those items have retained their value as a result. With Star Wars, it helps that there is a finite number of figures to collect from the original line. So a new collector can drop a few grand and get the whole collection.

So the number of loose complete figures out in the wild is rapidly shrinking. I have been collecting my whole life and it is getting almost impossible to find them at yard sales or flea markets.

I would love to be able to afford 50’s and older baseball cards. Star Wars is an odd case. Disney is keeping it going. If Disney shelf’s it, prices probably plummet. That said, will that happen? Is Darth Vader as timeless as Mickey Mouse? Most of our generation has 30 to 40 years left at minimum.

Yes because once the generation dies out they will go from niche Star Wars toys to legendary pop culture relics. 1977 darth vader in box will never be worth a few hundred bucks in 20 years. I honestly don't believe they will reach the heights you are suggesting but if I'm wrong, great. If not, it really doesn't matter. Disney blew it not releasing the original theatrical versions in the theaters on mass and DVD/blue Ray as well. Vinyl records is trending again. That could have bought another 25 to 30 years. But at this rate I doubt it. A lot of it too is the parents mostly, they don’t introduce the IP’s to their kids, and most importantly the toys as well. It’s still around but not nearly as it use to be. You would be surprised though by the younger Gen. When shown the original films in whatever IP say Mad Max for example, I’ve seen the reaction,and they gravitate to the older films. But it’s dying out. Enjoy for yourself. 😊

I think the boxed sealed moc will remain valuable, but the loose items will drop slightly its all about condition. Yes they were mass produced but its kinda hard to find good quality sw thats were the value will stay strong i believe.But if tere making sw for the next 30yrs I can't see the value drop to much . Gijoe 12inch fogures from 1969 are older then sw still remains very valuable. You could really say it about any 70s 80s toys from bmx to boxed consoles to toys all valuable especially in good condition. I don't see the price falling drastically anytime soon but like you I could be wrong . Love the show and I respect your honesty 👏

I kept my star wars at my parent's house for 20 years, and didn't bring them home until covid, and then displayed them shortly after that. So much happier seeing them everyday now than having them sit in a closet.

If there were no new movies and shows showing Star Wars, then I would agree. But star wars, transformers, gi joe, thundercats, tnmnt, and MOTU are pop culture. Trains and big sss joes are boomer shit that had no affect on pop culture. These toys have culture and huge following among zoomers right now in the Americas. So no … don’t compare Japanese’s and pop culture from the 80s and 90s dying out. Like Hip-Hop, it’s here to stay imo. My son is 6 and daughter 8 love the vintage MOTU and Star Wars figures. This is not a generation thing. Car collecting is bananas right now. Especially on young kids. Collecting 90s Japanese’s cars. Just think about that. Like I said, 80s and 90s toys are culture. Only time will tell. Kenner made millions and millions of figure. More being unearthed and sold each month. See it all the time in online groups and forums. Either way, I don’t collect for the monetary value. Foolish endeavor.

If these toys get forgotten and of no value to the younger generation then it is OUR FAULT!! It is our job to teach the younger generation the value of playtime and toys. I see parents take the lazy way out everyday and hand their 7 year old their phone!! Stop It!!! Put a couple figures in your pocket, hand them those instead!! Pass On What You Have Learned!!!! There are loads of cheap good Kenner figures out there. I see them in the $2 and $5 bins at toy shows all the time.

I'm 52.. Star Wars is bigger or as big as it was in the 70s and 80s.. there will always be a market for these toys as long as there are new movies, series, and shows

I don't think it's a question of whether there will be a market, but how big that market will be for the original Kenner line in the future.

A market for Star Wars yes. But an interest for KENNER vintage toys, that remains to be seen.

@@GQJedi exactly. The most likely ones to take up collecting vintage star wars figures are the kids of current collectors. If the kids are selling them off when they inherit them, which may be the case in most situations, that is a fair indication in my book

It's a fools errand to try and collect for monetary value.. I'm totally right there with you, even if we are a generation unto ourselves, there's nothing like collecting for the JOY and LOVE of the hobby, the past and also our personal nostalgia! Thanks for reenforcing the idea that our love of Kenner toys will never leave us, no matter what the value of these toys will be in the end... they are priceless to people like us!!!!!

I just dumped all my power of the force stuff last week, Complete orange card and green card set, all the playsets, all the 3 pacs, a bunch of 12 characters. 4 giant totes full. I only got 800 for all of it. I thought I had 2 k worth of stuff. Many items went for 1 or 2 bucks, mostly the green card stuff. Power of the force stuff is garbage, there is just too much of it out there. People thought they would retain value like the vintage stuff. Dump it now while you can still get something for it. I have too much vintage collection, black series and Gi Joe Classified. I want the vintage collection and black series because the toys are made well and look great. I dumped all my old stuff to make room because I just ran out of space. As far as the Kenner stuff, if its not on card its worth almost nothing. If its loose with weapon, you will get something. These items can be listed by anyone what they are worth, but in the end its only worth what someone will give you for it. Think hard about getting rid of the stuff sooner than later.

@@GQJedi When this stuff started to release in 98-99 I enjoyed it, I opened some but then realized I wanted it unopened. I would break my collection out 2-3 times a year and enjoy it. I had the stuff for 24/25 years. Since I started buying all Black series and Vintage stuff I realized I didnt want all this stuff on hand thats only reason I dumped all Power of the Force, I will keep my Black series and Vintage for ever.

Jesus man I'm only 50. You're obviously in your 40's. We're not all dying at 60. That's like 40-50 more years of just the people who were around when the movies came out. Everyone who watched Babe Ruth play is dead, yet his stuff keeps on selling. Greatness retains value. The vintage Kenner line isn't going anywhere. Ever. There will always be a lot of interest. It's not all gloom and doom.

Not sure how you got "gloom and doom" out of this video. I merely stated that I think the Kenner line will not retain it's value in the decades to come. It's just an opinion. Either way, it matters not. I don't collect for the value. But I am curious to see what happens. Bottom line, enjoy your collections. Like I have been saying since I started this channel.

In the end there are only so many, especially carded. And they’re only remaking the original figures. So yea they will be worth more if they’re carded.
