WOW!!!! What a difference between the Old look and now the New look I'm surprised that you didn't make it look a hundred years old look that you love so much. The Boat turned out absolutely amazing awesome like the colors you chose to do the Boat in good choice.

Foam decking and vinyl wrap can transform any boat to a fresh new awesome look. F.e. Cleetus McFarland did this with his mini jet boats. 😎🤟

Cant wait for the Africa trip! Im from SA and dream about doing just such a trip. The SA winters dont seem cold compared to what we experience Canada, but it is still very uncomfortable.. i was in SA in 2022 from March to beginning of June. May and June were properly uncomfortable.. just be prepared..

This is a video from months ago...back before all the snow, freezing temps and ice all over the place(I'm right below Rich in Buffalo). Seeing a boat being polished and worked on by tanned arms in Tshirts, out in the nice fresh air with a nice breeze coming thru the green leaves on the trees makes me really miss the Sun, UV rays, vitamin D & the heat that comes with it.☹️ Well we're almost into February, so spring is coming soon...hopefully!? Boat is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it ripping out on the Lake Erie & Ontario and Niagara River connecting them. Maybe I'll see ya out on the ponds in 6 months or so.🤔😎👌🏻👍🏻😎🚣🏻‍♂️🏄🏻‍♂️🏝️🚤🛥️⛵⛱️🤿

That keel guard looks like it could be really useful in protecting many things. Looks like it's gonna do a great job protecting the wrap from trailer rollers. Im gonna have to keep this in my memory storage for future reference & protection uses....steel bumper guard, etc? 👌🏻👍🏻😎🛠️🔧🔩📐🗜️

Why not switchable through exhaust and rear stabilizers . Double stainless rear props to consider too .... time to planing improves ... Boat does look awesome. I have an older Mariah with some goodies in blue swirls . I think you found a new avenue on your channel 👍🏻

Dude I wish I'd known about this matting before spending half a summer refinishing the teak on my old 18 footer to sell it. Never again.. ever! I'd have spent the money on this in a teak pattern and been done with it

How about a rebuilt Seven Marine engine and get rid of the stern drive and hang LSA on the back… There’s a few guys that can’t fix them and they’re cheap (😉😉😉) now Love the wrap 😀😀😀

It’s very hard to do this right. I print and wrap too, had one a few months ago and I actually designed mine to fit without the downward curve, what he said is right, but the way I attacked it was almost like a upside down trapezoid. And the reprint part, oh boy, I’ve had to waste entire rolls trying to get it right. I hope he post heated and a pray it’s Avery or 3M

Looks nice but it won't take long for the vinyl to loosen and water will get under it and it will peel. Better to have done a simpler paint job. It would last far longer. Thanks for the videos! 👍👍

I think it looks great, but with that boat moving 30, 40, 50 MPH will those large sheets start to peel after a while? Especially if they get a cut or scratch? I've had even glued on vinyl striping peel after a few years on a fiberglass boat. Guess I'm thinking of boats I have kept for 20-30 years. Have one now I bought in 1993. No big deal to just re-apply the vinyl after 5 years or whatever, on yours. Pro bass guys put new wraps on almost every year with new sponsors.

Definitely a good point and something you have to keep in mind when wrapping a boat! Vinyl does a good job holding onto the boat, but in places that take direct hits from fast moving water, you do want to make sure you protect that edge. I use edge sealing tape (which is a high tack, low profile clear vinyl tape) on any raw edges to reduce edge lifting. It's definitely a must if you have vinyl that will be in the water! 3M makes a few different widths of this tape - Im using 1/2in. the stuff is pretty pricy, I think mine was $75 from Uline, but it reduces the risk of lifting vinyl. Another thing to note - you typically want to avoid broad seams facing into the flow of water, which can increase the risk of lifting. Thanks for the comment and hopefully this provides some tips to anyone looking to do a boat wrap!
