After years of supposed tyrannical rule on a back water jungle planet, a group of rebels link up with the URF in order to attempt an overthrow of the planet's local defense force. The militia and the URF have to fight to regroup before moving on to capture a UNSC battle frigate in port. This operation also turned into one where the vehicles wanted to be aircraft.

little known halo lore fact: The first Spartan was actually a forklift, but ONI had to cover it up once he defected to the insurrectionists. This mission is confirmed lore-friendly

Not the first Spartan, but the first Spartan Armour was super bulky and heavy, so they got uses to lift stuff around because they were impractical for combat but good for logistics.

Once again the vehicles in this mission decided to not follow Newtonian physics so there was quite a few car crashes that sent people in the low orbit. Though I guess it's more fun that way huh? Hope you guys enjoy!

An insurrection halo game would be pretty interesting. A bit like ODST, but you're fighting off genetically modified tax collectors instead of genocidal aliens.
