John, have you heard that there is no such thing as a pure, naturally produced color purple in the form or light, as it is not produced by any prism? What it is, is the mixture of blue and red, which gives the effect of purple. Since blue and red do not touch on the spectrum, but can touch through more than one spectrum, you can only see a purple in a rainbow, when there is a second rainbow present to mix the colors. I always thought it was so intriguing that a color so present in our environment, does not exist naturally in the spectrum of light.

But wow, reminds me so much of the old 60s beauty tutorials they would show girl students in late junior high, very simple, yet incredibly precise and skilled. The Sleek Acid pallet is a classic. I am on my second! The fact that you used a pink toned powder foundation as a colour corrected is exactly what I was speaking about. You come up with some fabulous tips. I love this loose eyeshadow pigment 'obnoxious' wonderful name for a lovely product.

I totally understand the dirty makeup thing. There are times when I'll remove my my makeup a little (if I've only needed to wear it for a couple of hours) and not wash my face if its hours too early to do so. Then if I need to go out again, the excess eye makeup has already started to bleed around my eyes so I smudge it out and set it with translucent powder. Another coat of mascara, a bit of foundation, red lips and I'm ready to go again. Life's great haha

I am addicted to violet and purple. It is fascinating how Lord Maclean's eyes appear aquamarine when framed with this colour pallet. Absolutely beautiful!
