@1776 "Anecdotal" is the word you're looking for. For pills and other lightweight items USPS is always cheaper. For 17 pounds or more the private carriers can usually beat USPS.

@1776 I have a feeling the VA doesn't have a special deal only with Len's dad to use USPS and for other vets, who knows how they send prescriptions? It's one size fits all. So it's NOT anecdotal. My prescriptions also come by USPS from a large mail order prescription company. That's ALSO not anecdotal, because ALL their customers get em that way. That's millions or maybe tens of millions of people.
