I've just spent $70 for the ND I Need a Nude palette, but I'm loving this Patrick Ta palette. The fact it's all mattes and has 2 creams would be a great addition to the ND palette. I love the creams for eyeliners.

A friend gave me her Kylie matte shadow palette. I wouldn’t have purchased it on my own most likely. That being said, I am shocked at how much I enjoy the formula. The powders have silica in them, which I very much enjoy on my extra oily eyelids. I find that they have more smoothness and oil absorbing staying power.

By the swatches you showed alone, I like the Patrick Ta one best. 20$ more isn’t enough to make me NOT get it over the others. And I’d never buy a Kylie product, so…… that’s my take. Thanks for the comparison Risa 🤍 have a good holiday weekend 🇺🇸

Excellent informative video. I am 76 and even though I generally use two neutral colors on my eyes on a daily basis, I always enjoy your videos. I wear shades of brown but only the cool tones.

Thank you for doing a tutorial. I have hooded eyes and get frustrated trying to do my eyes. Watching someone with hooded eyes do their makeup is very helpful.

As I age close to 80 I have changed over to the Revlon cream pot eyeshadows with their beautiful glowing soft colours. Creams do not flake and look better on older eyelids and are easier to apply. Interestingly blues seem to be out of favour in all brands. Why? I Enjoy your videos. Very interesting and you look so beautiful.

I agree on warm tones being more neutral. I really like this palette and was able to mix the neutral and cool tones easily. The creams make great liners as well.

My favorite matte palette is the viseart neutral matte palette. They are having a Labor Day sale right now. 50% off! The shadows are soft, incredibly blendable, with zero fall down

The new Danessa Myricks Groundwork pallet has me super curious too! I do have and love the Viseart neutral pallet so I probably don’t need anything else lol.

I wouldn't buy any of them. If you have Colourpop's Gone Matte, there is no need for any of those, AND they're way too expensive. Milani's Ungilded Mattes are another option for warmer matte shadows.

I passed on the Mario because it was all warm and so similar to ND Biba. But I did end up getting this and it's different. I've been in my lip/blush era so just doing a single matte eyeshadow. PS Thank you for doing this comparison!!

I love all of your videos and seeing the high-end stuff. Unfortunately, my budget doesn't allow for much on the high-end side. Most nudes and browns frustrate me. I find they all look warm, and I definitely like the cooler tones on me. I have a hard time telling the difference in the pans. Maybe you could do a video on which eyeshadow palettes and which bronzers are warm and which are cool. And how do you tell a difference...just a thought.

I like the Patrick ta palette I thought about it but then I know I have the visiart neutral Matt palette and it looks so similar age is good palette so I’m not getting any of them but they are nice I love eye shadow palette they are so versatile you can use them of course as shadows eye liner bronzer blush on the brows there’s so much you can do. Lisa, I think you forget there are some Latinas out here that appreciate the Ivory for our under brow color. We can't use "white" on our medium brown skin. 😉

This video was so helpful to me.. the Viseart neutral mattes used to be my go to for those shades but as time went on, other formulations are so much better it is spoiling me. After all, it’s around our eyes so why wouldn’t we want it to feel soft and effortless to use.❤

I have the Patrick Ta palette - waited for a while because I have so much eyeshadow -but it was totally worth it. I think it is much better than the Mario palette. Formula and undertones. I even prefer it to Natasha Denona! I really love this palette.

Thanks for the thorough reviews. I don't understand lip liner that is not skin color or lipstick color. I am a medium tan Boomer. Wasn't it a 90s thing? I find it distracting rather than flattering, especially with a lighter lipstick.

I bought the Patrick Ta, it is very expensive, however, I bought it because I prefer QUALITY over Quantity. Eye shadow is just one of those things, you don’t need a thousand eyeshadows. I am 59, I don’t wear a lot of makeup but when I do a full shadow look, I like quality. IMO.

I will never buy a Kylie product. Personal preference. I have the makeup by Mario and love it. Patrick Ta is a beautiful palette but I don’t need another all matte palette lol

Very helpful. I have the Mario. I agree the color story isn't perfect, but it usually works fine for my needs. Not asking you to do this at all, but I'll be looking to see how it compares to the new Danessa Myricks, the Blend Bunnies, and the Natasha Denona all matte palettes.

All the influencers I've seen, have loved the Patrick Ta palette.... I'm interested in a follow-up on the Mario, last time I saw you use it, you got red sore eyes... but I remembered that you had also used a highlighter in the inner corners of your eyes and at the end of the day, when your eyes were red, I wondered which product did it. Ive not see you follow up on it.

I actually jus got the Kylie palette and I love the formula and the shades so much! ❤ One of my favourite palettes for sure! The quality is definitely there. I truly don’t get the hate Kylie gets (just because she is famous and has money..??), so I’m enjoying her makeup a lot. I also have some lip products from her that I love and a blush, also her eyeliner is really good. I like her brand :)

I wish the Patrick Ta was split in two companion palettes, a cool one and a warm one. I prefer cool tones on me, and I like a small, handy palette. I miss the small original Naked Basics palette…

IF, that one was also included in the mix, since you said it had mattes too, would you pick the Patrick Ta or the Natasha Denona? I was a very accomplished MUA until a couple of years ago. $70 for a pallette vs. $70 for a new video game 🤔🤔 I'm taking the video game lol but I really like some of those colors. I did buy the recent affordable makeup brushes you suggested and they're fantastic . I'm shocked for the price point of them.
