I rented it for a weekend on the Megadrive whilst I had a mate staying over with me and we played the ever loving chuff out of the 2 player mode.

The OG! As strong as the nostalgia is with this one, it still might be the only game for which the home version is objectively better. 1080p, 60fps, no clipping... a true upgrade. Such a shame it's not ported on Xbox or PS5, a 4K 120fps version would look fantastic.

But is bay bridge as hard / impossible on the arcade as the switch?

@@MrDirkles It is freaking hard. The game is literally the same code, I played it on MAME after playing the Switch version, and you can't feel a lick of difference, except for the smoothness on Switch.

The timer is pretty unforgiving in the arcade game.

@@MrThunderwing i wish that sega world drivers championship had the same difficulty level as virtua racing. On swdc it's virtually impossible not to win
