I'm not even using the full version of VMWare, using VMWare Workstation 17 Player - out of no where internet just died. Did a restart and didn't help. I don't have a way to go back to defaults, but what I did instead is shut down and change my network adapter to bridged (it was NAT) and internet came back :shrug:. I don't know why that worked but it did so good I guess?

Omg thank you this was driving me mad I couldn't get internet access on VMware 17 using it MacOS 13 Ventura. I followed your instructions to the T and boom it works thank you again.
